More about Steve Hasenberg, LMFT

I work out-of-network with insurance companies, with successful reimbursement of 25-75% of my fees for most patients, depending on their insurance plan. I'll be glad to assist you in understanding this process. I am a licensed psychotherapist who has spent the last 30 years studying the wisdom traditions of many cultures and integrating them into the framework of Western Psychology. I graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with honors and completed a Master’s degree in clinical psychology at Antioch University. I have completed post graduate work in family systems therapy at the Mental Research Institute in Palo Alto. My focus is on spiritual psychotherapy. I like to partner with my clients and help them view their life from a more soulful perspective. Drawing from Buddhist mindfulness and meditation practices, heart science and cognitive behavioral therapy, my sessions are creative, compassionate, deeply insightful and at times humorous. Therapy is a wonderful environment to rediscover yourself and re-image your dreams.
