Hi! I am a licensed social worker with a passion for providing psychoeducation and realistic mindfulness-based interventions and techniques.
I truly believe that therapy can help uncover the root causes of that which might be hindering you from being the best version of yourself. I will not only teach you the basics of understanding why and how you got to this point but I will also help you conquer those negative thoughts and emotions that often cripple us from living a full, happy, and thriving life.
I have experience in foster care therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, somatic treatment, and mindfulness-based interventions. These therapeutic modalities have provided me the ability to understand the effects of cultural, economic, and environmental factors and how they play a huge role in shaping one’s emotional development.
Our past can teach us a lot about ourselves: Not only how we see the world but also how we react to it. I’m here to help you explore those significant moments that may have set you on this path, and reframe your thinking so that you can overcome those negative thoughts and emotions that may be keeping you from being the awesome version of yourself you’ve always wanted to be.
