Tara also works with individuals managing midlife transitions, postpartum anxiety and depression, and PTSD. By using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Couples Counseling, she helps her clients build resilience, self-acceptance, and healthier relationships.
In addition to her work with individuals, Tara specializes in couples therapy, helping partners strengthen their relationships by addressing communication issues, emotional distance, and the impact of life changes on their connection. She also offers support for those experiencing marital conflict, affairs, and the challenges of separation and divorce. Tara compassionate, client-centered approach is designed to meet the unique needs of each couple or individual, helping them to find balance and healing.
Outside of her clinical practice, Tara enjoys spending time with her two dogs and loves taking long walks on the beach with them. She also finds joy in reading and embracing the beauty of the outdoors. Serving patients across Maine, Tara is committed to helping her clients achieve lasting personal growth and emotional well-being.
