My name is Tiara Perkins and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in North Dakota. I typically work with adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, and psychosis. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help my client gain insight into their symptoms and reach their goals.
My approach
My approach to therapy can vary based on the client needs. I can alter my approach to best help each client. Generally I used Mindfulness Techniques, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy and adjust them to meet your needs.
My focus
I studied at Hampton University with a major in Psychology and Longisland University Post for my graduate studies in Counseling.I'm open to working with people from all walks of life.

I take pride in listening to my clients and keeping open and honest communication. I periodically assign homework depending on the client.
My journey to mental healthcare
I started my journey to becoming a therapist after I graduated from Hampton University. I began working at a mental health housing agency while in graduate school. I was immediately drawn to helping people better themselves. I continue to work in this field because the small achievements bring me joy.
