More about Dr. Afshin Arian, DMD
Dr. Afshin Arian earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine and he received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston in 1997. After graduating dental school, Dr. Arian attended One year residency program at University of Califonia, San Francisco for Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry. He has completed many courses at the California Implant Institute, which allow him to perform dental implants surgery and restorations. He has completed numerous courses at LVI (Las Vegas Institute) and also at Frank Spears Facility in Arizona for cosmetic dentistry. He completed a two year orthodontic program at Progressive Orthodontic Seminars in California in 2005.
To ensure that his patients receive the very best care possible in a comfortable setting, Dr. Arian has taken courses in Sedation Dentistry at University of Southern California. He is able to accommodate patients with dental anxiety by offering them different sedation techniques such as Nitrous Oxide Gas or IV-sedation.
Dr. Arian is a member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association and the International Association for Orthodontics.
When he’s not working in his office or attending continuing education classes, Dr. Arian enjoys soccer and basketball.
