As usual, Agnes Fuentes, DDS was excellent on this visit. She was careful and efficient and paid attention to detail. She explained everything as she went along so I knew what was happening. I never felt a thing while she is working on me and, as usual, I had no after effects of the anesthetic when I left the office. I would highly recommend her. ***** Five Star All The Way.

Dr. Fuentes was born and raised in Puerto Rico. After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Biology she attended Georgetown University Dental School and received her dental degree in 1988.
Dr. Fuentes worked at a group practice for five years and opened her Private Practice in 1993, in South Arlington, Crystal City area. Since her graduation from dental school she has received extensive post-doctoral training in restoring dental implants and all phases of dentistry and occlusion. She has received post-doctoral training at the Pankey Institute, the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and other institutions.
Dr. Fuentes is a member of the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Association.
She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and her son. She enjoys reading, gardening and volunteering.

I have been seeing Dr. Fuentes for dental care for several years. She is an excellent dentist and is also very gentle and kind. I have had a number of dental issues due to a genetic condition and Dr. Fuentes always takes the time to explain what she's doing both before and during any procedure. She makes great suggestions regarding cosmetic issues, immediate dental needs, and preventive care. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and efficient. They are very personable and take the time to get to know you. I've referred several friends and colleagues to this practice and will continue to do so.

Although my appointment started about 15 minutes late I was not at all bothered. I arrived about 1 minute late and was handed a sheet to fill out- I'm always disappointed when this happens because ZocDoc should provide all this information!
The hygienist (who was covering for a receptionist's lunch break) understood and asked for just my signature then.
This office speaks Spanish and English, so I felt right at home and that's probably helpful to a lot of people.
Dr. Fuentes was extremely personable. She did my cleaning herself. She was THOROUGH. She explained and tried to show me anything she found of note. When they offered x-rays or additonal cleaning options they were sure to check and double check with my insurance provider to make sure I was covered.
I was extremely happy here and I am SO sad that my new insurance company isn't accepted here :(

I have been Dr. Fuentes patient since 1993. She makes you feel very comfortable and that is important for me since I have a high level of anxiety towards dental procedures. She is very professional and has high ethics. She has never push for any dental work and always explain all the procedures very well.

Seeing Dr. Fuentes is always a gentle caring experience. She explains my treatment thoroughly ans always gives me great suggestions for preventive care. In forty years of going to dentists all around the country, due to my job, I have found Dr. Fuentes to be the best of all dentists I'e seen. Excellent and very updated dentist.
