I really liked the atmosphere when I walked into the office. Everyone was very polite and attentive. Even though I made my appoint with the wrong doctor, they pointed me to right doctor. I made an appointment with that doctor and once I see him, I will know what direction I want to go. I am very happy with my visit and would definitely recommend this doctor anyone who needs one.

Doctor Elyassi is very direct and clear, which I appreciate. It may not be to some people's taste, but I want the facts up front. Office staff was very nice and helpful, especially with trying to find a way to reduce the economic pain of what is going to be a very lengthy procedure.

At Fort Hood, Texas, Dr. Elyassi was appointed as Assistant Professor and head oral surgery mentor for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. At Walter Reed, he was appointed Assistant Professor and attending to the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. He has devoted his professional career to staying current with all aspects of oral surgery and passing on knowledge to dental students and young oral surgery candidates/residents.
Dr. Elyassi has special interests in dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, preprosthetic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, TMJ surgery, and trauma. He has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of his field. He has over nine publications in various journals leading to the development of the surgery field and several other publications in process.
Besides reading and writing, his hobbies include playing golf, soccer, tennis, skiing, scuba diving, and spending quality time with family.

While the care I received at Greenbelt Oral Surgery was good - dealing with the billing department has not been good. I've been chasing up my final payment amount and my refund for 6 months. There is no urgency and a lack of contact from the billing department. Unfortunately, because of this, I would not recommend the service.

Will definitely recommend. My aunt recommended to Dr. Elyassi. The Only thing was the wait time. Though there were a lot of people waiting I would consider that a good sign for a booming practice, and no one seemed particularly upset about their wait. Front desk staff were friendly as well as attending dental/medical staff. My questions were answered and concerns heard out. They were really really good. If I need oral surgery again or wisdom teeth removed again I will definitely be coming back!

I was early but the wait time after my appointment time was very short. Overall I was very impressed. Dr. Elyassi was very pleasant and kept me appraised of the steps he was taking. If I ever need another extraction or decide to do implants this is probably where I will go.

This is a very clean office in a professional part of Greenbelt. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr. Ellyassi is a very good oral surgeon who doesn't numb you up to your eyeballs, targets the area specifically and gets the job done. No slurring!

This was my first appointment with Dr Elyassi, and they were able to fit me in even though I scheduled my visit one day before. I waited approximately 45 minutes after signing in; however, that time was taken up by paperwork, billing etc. Dr Elyassi had an excellent bedside manner. Although I could tell that he was moving quickly through patient visits, he was very pleasant and took the time to answer all of my questions. The staff was able to schedule my procedure in the same week, and I was not half as nervous as when I first entered the office.

Dr. Elyassi is an outstanding doctor! I consulted him about getting my wisdom teeth extracted and he immediately made me feel comfortable. My surgery went extremely smoothly. I got all four wisdom teeth extracted at once and have experienced very minimal swelling and pain. Dr. Elyassi was also easy to reach afterwards to answer my (sometimes overly paranoid) questions! Excellent doctor -- would not hesistate to recommend him and come back should I ever need it!

He was very caring after the procedure and called me a few times to see how I was doing. His team from front desk to the surgery room were very professional and caring. Dr. Elyassi is by far the best oral surgeon in the area. He does quality work and is thorough and very precise. He adheres to the highest standards in all his work. I have my wisdom teeth removed by him and my experience was pain-free and comfortable. Being my "adult" age, he recommended bone graft for the area of my wisdom teeth extraction and charged fraction compare to others in the area. He has genuine concern for my well being and called me at home the evening of the surgery. His office and surgical staff are sweet and competent. He is a perfectionist and demand the best. He is the BEST.
