This was my first time at this practice and I drive outside my area to visit because Dr. Ashton had such great reviews. She and her team have excellent bed side manner, are highly knowledgeable and skilled. Everything was explained to me, my questions were answered and I was clear on my oral health. About Dr. Tiffany Ashton
Dr. Tiffany Ashton has been practicing dentistry in Maryland for over 10 years. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. She completed an additional year of training at an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Maryland Dental School, where she advanced her skills in cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, crowns and bridges, dentures, root canal therapy and Invisalign orthodontics.
Dr. Ashton’s background in nutrition gives her the unique ability to combine the technical and artistic aspects of dentistry with a focus on overall health. We know that our nutritional intake can have a profound effect on our overall health and well-being, but what is not as well known is that the attention and care that patients give to their mouth, teeth and gums can and does have a direct effect on the health and well-being of the entire body. Dr. Ashton’s goal, in practice, is not only to get patients back to optimal dental health but to also educate them as to why treatment is necessary and the likely consequences when there is a delay or no treatment. Her patients’ best interests are at the core of their planned treatment, and making sure they have a pleasant dental experience is always one of Dr. Ashton’s priorities.

I had been avoiding the dentist for a few years and felt ashamed about making an appointment, but Dr. Ashton and her team completely put me at ease. From start to finish, everyone was incredibly patient, friendly and helpful. Dr. Ashton didn’t make me feel judged at all. She even took extra time to watch me demonstrate my flossing technique and gave me helpful tips to make sure I was doing it correctly and effectively. Jess at the front desk made me feel comfortable immediately, and handled all my insurance needs, which I really appreciated. Taking full-mouth x-rays is typically difficult for me because I have some TMJ, but Bre made it quick and painless! For the first time since my dentist of 20 years retired, I can confidently say I've found "my dentist," and I'm so glad to have Dr. Ashton and her amazing team helping me get my oral health journey back on track!

Great dentist, hygienists, and office staff. Everyone was friendly, and I had a great experience. I haven't seen a dentist in a long time and the last one I saw was awful, so I needed a lot of things taken care of. I was treated with kindness, my treatment plan was clear, and there was no judgment.

I have to get some maintenance work done and it’s a lot and I didn’t think they are over charging. I have been to dentists that charge more for extras. Have not had the work yet but will right another review. Cleaning was amazing!

Excellent experience. I usually hate going to the dentist but Dr. Ashton helped calm my anxiety. Dr. Ashton clearly explained what procedures I needed, answered my questions, and listened to feedback. The front office staff was also pleasant and talked me through financing.
