Dr. Allison Marmon is pleased to offer the best in restorative dentistry. Upon graduation, she completed a post-doctoral residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She is devoted to providing excellent patient care and continuing dental education.
Helpful staff with the Practice will also assist you with appointment and treatment coordination around your busy schedules, as well as ensuring the maximization of your insurance.
Dr. Marmon was educated at Tulane University in New Orleans and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She was a member of the Gorgas Odonotological Honors Society at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, which emphasizes continuing education in the Dental Field. She was a member of the Gamma Phi Prosthodontic Honors Society which recognizes outstanding performance in fixed prosthodontics, removal prosthodontics and operative dentistry. Her interest in operative dentistry led her to volunteer wit the Dental Brigades community clinic in Posada Azul, Honduras where she worked in conjunction with local dentists to provide urgent and preventative care in rural communities, with limited access to dental care. She has also participated in Mission of Mercy in various areas of Maryland with underserved adult populations.
Dr. Marmon practices a wide variety of general dentistry procedures, including anterior and premolar endodontics, implant restorations, pediatric dentistry and surgical extractions.

Dr. Marmon is truly wonderful! It had been way too long since I had gone to a dentist and I was very nervous before my appointment but the friendliness of the entire staff immediately put me at ease and took away the nerves. Dr. Sherman (Marmon) was fantastic. I was very anxious and told the hygienist (Nicole?) who was so kind and reassuring and gentle. She was very receptive to know why I was anxious and addressed each of my concerns in the most compassionate way. When Dr. Sherman came in, she reaffirmed everything Nicole had said. She was gentle both in practice, and in approaching next steps. I felt very comfortable and almost ridiculous for being so nervous going!

I cannot recommend this office enough. I HATE the dentist but they were so kind. I feel like I found a second family. I’m a decent law school graduate and money is tight. They went out of their way to make sure there were no hidden costs, never pressured me to buy anything (which is not how most of my dental experiences have been), and helped me plan for future visits / pick the best dental insurance. You cannot go wrong coming here. I truly cannot recommend them enough! I’m so happy to no longer dread the dentist.
