I've been going to Dr.Davidson for over a year now, recommended by a friend of mine. The service is excellent. Everytime I come through the door I'm greeted with a smile by one of the assts. Wait time is never long. Service is great. Its always a pleasant experience. Would i recommend this establishment to another... yes indeed.

I love Dr. Davidson! I had two root canals today and he was awesome company we chatted about sports etc while the numbing kicked in. He and the staff have been amazing every visit.

He is graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry and he joined his father's dental practice to carry on the family business. Since 1993 Dr. Davidson, Jr. had two dental offices in the Washington metropolitan area. One location in Washington, D.C. and one in Bowie, Maryland.
He along with his father, Dr. Alphonzo L. Davidson Sr. (Oral Surgeon) practice together and they both strive to improve your oral health needs. Noteably, they both are dedicated and committed to dental health and improving your smile. Dr. Davidson, Jr. provides a variety of services, including dental cleanings, fillings, tooth extractions, crowns, dentures and root canals starting from ages 3 - 100.

After retirement from Army in 2011 this was my first and only dental office I visited. I stayed loyal to Dr. Davidson until their totally unprofessional demeanor during my last visit. I waited around for exactly one hour for him to see me for a cleaning. Even after that no we apologize for the wait or thank you for waiting or we appreciate your patience nothing but rude unprofessional paraprofessionals and Dr. Davidson himself. Needless to say I was shocked by his beside manner that day. I don't think he really said a word to me. I gues his time is more valuable then his patience or mine at least. Normally he's quite pleasant. I'm never late and always on time for dental with his office. I guess the practice is so well they don't need my Tri-care money. Very disappointed because I thought we found a practice and doctor we could patronize until old and gray. In addition, I served in the medical field for 20 years, so I've worked with some of best and brightest surgeons around. I know what good besides manner looks like.

I felt that a phone conversation should have addressed my concerns with my teeth as opposed to coming in and waiting over 1.5 hours. No service was rendered to me because there was nothing that Dr. Davidson could do. This was clearly a case of ineffective communication and improper screening prior to booking an appointment.

Minimal wait, about 10 mins. Dr. Davidson and his staff are very friendly, helpful, and professional. As one who dreads going to the dentist, I was pleasantly surprised that my fears were unfounded. There was absolutely no pain involved during my procedure. Amazing!! TWO THUMBS UP TO HILLCREST DENTAL!!

Had better report with dental assistant! Dr Davidson might have had a bad day with three laptops down. Still don't understand how a laptop prevented him from doing an exam and cleaning. I was seated promptly for my 4:40 pm appointment but no work was done until after 5 pm! When he finally started the only conversation was ''do you want your teeth cleaned? and 'you can rinse with mouthwash over by the sink.' There was do conversation about my oral health, if I had any cavities or deep pockets even if I was doing a good job and see you in 6 months! Nothing! All I saw was his retreating back. I asked the assistant if I was done, she said yes, 6 months. On the phone prior to making the appointment, I asked about my insurance coverage, etc. After collecting my info, Receptionist said I only needed ID and insurance card. Now at check out, I get charged! Perhaps the amont would a lunch and a couple of lattes to the good doctor thus not worth any professional conversation. I was a dental assistant and worked with various specialists for 20 years. Lack of communication wasn't tolerated then nor will it be now. Teeth were cleaned well, beautiful office decor only redeeming qualities.
