Dr. Amy Nguyen grew up in Cerritos, California and graduated from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where she now teaches part-time. After graduating from UOP's accelerated dental program, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Southern California and worked in the Greater Los Angeles Veterans' Affairs Healthcare System. The GPR program gave her greater expertise in treating medically complicated cases and in hospital dentistry. In her spare time, she likes to powerlift to burn off calories so she can eat it all back at dinner.

This was my first appointment at this place. I went for a cleaning appointment. But, the assistant spent 90% of the time taking my xrays instead. And she was taking too many xrays, she wasnt able to get one correctly, so kept retaking. I think she took atleast 30 to 35 takes, I am not kidding. All this while appointment was for cleaning. And even after all this effort, none of the xrays came out right. After all this, she realized time was less and quickly completed my cleaning. I can assure it was done in a hurry and wasnt properly done. I am not sure how to trust this practice with my dental work, if they cant even take xrays properly and dont do the cleaning work properly. I am not even sure if taking so many xrays is safe. Terrible experience, never visiting here again.

Would rate more stars if possible. First time to the dentist in five years and Dr. Amy Nguyen and her assistant Candice made me feel comfortable and did a great job. Wish I went to the dentist sooner!
Side note: Great snacks in the waiting area + phone chargers!

I love Dr. Nguyen! She's extremely friendly and kind and is great with answering questions and walking me through all the procedures. I appreciate that she is not aggressive about treatment (doesn't try to convince me to change out an old filling if there isn't a problem, unlike dentists I've had before). At the same time, she is good at keeping an eye on things so they don't develop into issues.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Nguyen's office and I was more than happy with the personability of Dr. Nguyen and her staff. I felt comfortable and at home in her office.

I have not had much luck, until now, finding a dentist that was more interested in her patient than money, but Amy and her associate are amazing. Amy's attention to detail, and her sincere interest in her patient is far beyond anything I have seen. I am a forever patient !

My visit with Dr Nguyen was great. I had a broken wisdom tooth which I wanted to get removed. I was pretty skeptical about the whole procedure when I looked on youtube and when I called other tooth extraction when then said you need to go to oral surgeon. Dr Nguyen took the Xray and mentioned my extraction wouldnt be as complicated and is only a simple extraction. She advised me to have filing till I get the tooth extracted as I was not ready for tooth extraction that day.Glad I had the filling now I can live without the nagging pain from the broken tooth till I get it extracted. Dr Nguyen was great,greeted with a smile and explained in detail how my tooth had damaged and explained my options.Would recommend her for anyone who would need dental treatment.
