Dr. Aida M. Galan, is a Functional Integrative Dentist with over 20 years of experience in San Jose Ca., dedicated to transforming lives by addressing the rooth cause and the vital link between oral health and whole-body wellness. Born and raised in the Republic of Panama, she began her dental journey in 1989 and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.
Committed to staying at the forefront of dental innovation, Dr. Galan has completed advanced training in Dental Sleep Medicine through Vivos Therapeutics, Orthodontics through Progressive Orthodontics and Candid Clear Aligners, Implant Dentistry with Hiossen-N.CA, and Functional Medicine with a focus on weight loss and inflammation.

Service was exceptional. I was in severe pain & seen immediately. Dr. Gallan was very thorough in making sure I was comfortable while in surgery & was super efficient. So the process was fast, as comfortable as possible, & her assistant Kimberly was very attentive. Overall amazing service. :)

Very supportive and encouraging . Excellent bedside manner. Very personable. Very friendly. Timely, I was in and out. Ever when my teeth/ gams were a mess they applied the light amount of "personal" to get me to take the steps to improve my health.

It was my first time and I had a very positive experience. Dr. Galan came out to greet me and offered me water. I felt very comfortable and at home. I spent almost 2 hours with the hygienist, who was both personable and knowledgeable. It was fun and I learned alot,too. Dr. Galan checked my mouth in a way no other dentist had before. I have kissed a lot of frogs before I found this dentist. I high recommend them.

I don't like having cleanings without antibiotics, or that's no longer an issue?
The cleaning was painful and I had a horrible experience. Maybe it's just me.

Dr Galan has been my dentist for over 10 years. She has helped me through various dental procedures including my routine oral health, as well as implants and veneers due to a bicycling accident. Dr Galan is very professional and I appreciate her skill level and compassion.

As some one with a dental phobia Dr Galan is very kind and made me feel very comfortable. You can tell she has your best interest and is very professional.
The hygienist Steven is also very kind a makes you feel right at home and very informative. I truly recomen Dr . Galan to anyone especially seeking a dental office where they can feel at ease and comfortable.

Dr. Aida Galan is an expert in her field. I came to her to get advice on the Braces versus Invisalign question. I had a lot of questions and Dr. Aida Galan answered all of them, and continues to do! She is exceptional in her dental knowledge, practical recommendations and flexibility. She keeps herself current in all aspects of her dentistry and business which speaks volumes to her service. She is a well rounded individual and our conversations are always meaningful. I have recommended her to friends and strangers.

I have so much anxiety just being in the dentist's chair. I hate going to the dentist but I really like Dr. Galan. She is super nice and answers all my questions (and I ask A LOT). I have been going to her about 3 years now and she has replaced all my old fillings with pretty white ones and I am very happy with the work she has done in my mouth. I take my daughter to her (she's 10) and she feels totally comfortable there (although she has not had any cavities!)
I also have my husband going to her for all his dental work that he needs. I really hate having dental work done but Dr. Galan's a great dentist and I'm so glad I found her!
