I am terrified of dentist appointments but Dr. Cervantes was very gentle, explained everything she was doing and why she doing it along the way and she consistently made sure I was doing okay. She is awesome!!!! Love her!!

Dr. Andrea Cervantes is a California native who grew up in South Sacramento. In 2003, Dr. Cervantes received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific, followed by a residency in General Dentistry at the UOP Health Sciences Clinic in Stockton.
Dr. Cervantes performs dental health screenings at various schools throughout Sacramento County for high-risk children. She is also committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology.

I had scheduled my appointment because my tooth was giving me hard time after the crown was done. I was explaining my pain and Dr tried to tell me she is not a musician and does not have a glove to find cause of my pain. WHAT????. She is doctor and should be doing her job by doing x-rays or other procedure. No to tell people other stuff. It was awful. And last time technician was applying naming gel one me and right way Dr did shot it was so painful. Worse experience of my life.

Andrea is probably the best dentist EVER..seriously! I was terrified to even go to ANY dentist when I first started seeing her, requiring Laughing Gas to it's highest setting to just stay in the chair. I no longer need to go to those extremes thanks to her and her staff. Any issue that you may have, she's quick to fix and goes way beyond to take care of her customers. I recently moved to Oroville, and gladly made the drive so she could help me out with a crown that came off.

Some minor glitches in terms of post-op paperwork and next appointment scheduling, but otherwise, first rate (as usual).
Highlight: Her persistence at getting a stubborn wisdom tooth was appreciated. After 2 hours, she could have given up and had me schedule later in the week with an oral surgeon. But she pulled through (literally and figuratively) and got it done. Thanks!

The technician was waiting for me when I walked in even though I was a little early. The dental work included a lots drilling so I had to be numbed. The numbing procedure was not painful and lasted throughout my needed work. I was complete comfortable during the work.

Dental hygienist Ellen did a great job -- fastest, easiest cleaning I've had in years. Sure, my teeth were apparently in very good condition. But I also had minimal instances of being poked a bit too deep with the pic during cleaning, and (thank God) the actual scraping was minimal. The polishing went well, also -- in the past, with some hygienists there was the occasional case where there was a bit too much pressure on the tooth, resulting in a VERY uncomfortable feeling throughout.
Dr. Cervantes seemed a bit rushed today; her bedside matter was a little more businesslike than usual. But given the unexpected drop-in and office's general busyness, I can't hold that against her.
All told, I look forward to having a wisdom tooth removed in a few weeks. How likely is anyone to say THAT when talking about their dentist?

I had seen another dentist for many year prior to Andrea Cervantes, but the getting emergency appointments were always difficult. I broke my tooth and I was extremely pleased when Dr. Cervantes was able to see me, a first time patient, the very next day after my call. She was extremely pleasant and made sure that I understood everything regarding my procedure and financially.

The visit was great; however they recommend you show up a few minutes early so that you can complete whatever paperwork you need. If you get an afternoon appointment that's literally right after lunch, be prepared to wait outside because they lock the doors until someone is done w/their lunch to open the lobby...which doesn't make much sense if you're scheduled for a 1pm appointment.
The personnel were very nice and comfortable to talk to about any concerns and they continued to make sure I was relaxed. There's a TV for each patient bedside which is cool to keep your mind off the cleaning.
I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is seeking a calming and relaxing environment especially if you're already nervous about going to the dentist. Dr Cervantes and her team are great!

Still to be determined. I didn't anticipate that I would be referred to a different specialist but understand that because of my tooth pain that the referral waa necessary.
I can say that the office is the most comfortable and aesthetically pleasing office I've ever experienced. Amanda was extremely welcoming and nice.
I do look forward to meeting the owner of the practice and hope to establish a solid doctor patient relationship.
