I've been to Lux Dental Care twice now, and have been thoroughly impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and care given to me during my visits. Not only that, but the work they do is efficient without being rushed or sloppy. During both of my visits, I saw Dr. Sweeny, who I found to be very competent, with a pleasantly relaxed demeanor which made me feel well cared for. Additionally, he was very informative and explained things simply and succinctly.
I give Lux my highest recommendation, and am very much looking forward to my next visit!

Dr. Sweeny is a general dentist born and raised in Williston, Vermont. He attended the University of Vermont, where he received a B.A. in Biology. After working for a year as a lab technician at UVM studying muscle physiology, he moved to Boston to attend Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. While in school he was able to treat patients from all over the greater Boston area, including a 10-week externship with Boston’s Healthcare for the Homeless program. He believes that dentistry is best done when a comprehensive treatment plan is tailored to be fit a patient’s needs; this is best accomplished with compassion, expertise, and good communication between patient and provider. When not working he enjoys watching Boston sports, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
