Dr Santana was kind, straightforward, and most importantly, not judgemental. She was honest about my needs and had a reassuring bedside manner. The rest of the staff were also friendly and straightforward. Great 1st visit!

Although this provider was professional and kind, I felt that her and her colleagues were pushing expensive treatments and procedures on me. I have never been told that I had issues with my teeth until I came into this office and they gave me a grocery list of things I needed to get fixed (im in my early 20s, have never had a cavity, and have straight teeth so I was very thrown off). When I asked about cheaper alternative options, I was informed that nothing else existed except what they were offering and they insisted I make an appointment and put down a portion of the payment. After leaving my appointment I did a little research and found that other options did exist and I was being mislead. I feel very disappointed that my first experience with this office went this way and I will not be returning in the future.

I only have good things to say! From the time I walked in the front desk staff were welcoming, the dental assistant (?) was also wonderful! Explained everything that was going to be done and why and answered my questions to the best of her abilities. Dr. Melissa Santana Guerrero was also wonderful, quick and to the point but also very informative and knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend this office and Dr. Guerrero.

CitiDental in general has been known to overhype procedures or overdiagnose cavities, but I felt like Dr. Guerrero was very transparent and communicative throughout the process. I was able to see the X Rays they took and she was careful to explain options & reasoning for timelines and why she felt like certain procedures were necessary.

Tried to upsell me on 4 different additional procedures / services. I declined them all as none of them were covered by insurance. They proceeded to try and administer fluoride after I had already declined so I had to stop that. The front desk staff were chatting really noisily about non work appropriate topics such as relationships. The glasses they gave you to wear were cheap plastic sunglasses and did not protect my eyes from water spray. They X-ray machine had corex plastic board taped on. I have never had a more painful cleaning, good thing it only lasted about half the time as all other dentist appointments have taken. Con about speeding through the cleaning was that the spin brush portion took about 5 seconds for the entire mouth, they spent longer putting the toothpaste on the brush which they did over my face so little bits could fall on me.

Dr Santana was incredibly thoughtful and delicate with me. Listened to my concerns and helped me. Cleaning was great and she went in great detail about my dental layout.

I was a little disappointed with my visit. The hygienist was very rough in taking my xrays. Also, the doctor looked at my teeth/completed a full cleaning, and told me my teeth looked excellent and that I had no cavities. Right before leaving she decided to look at my xrays and very casually decided I have two cavities that needed filling. They also tried to sell me on a customized night guard retainer they make (though I already have one, which they asked to see) and were unable to suggest any other options/recommendations when I asked. It all felt a little opportunistic, and I decided to get a second opinion on both points at another office.
