Dr. Shahkarami has taken such good care of me. I used to have the worst, most profound fear of the dentist. After 13 years of no checkups I needed a lot of help. I went to Dr. Shahkarami because she had such high reviews. Those reviews were no joke!! Dr. Shahkarami and her incredible staff (I love Andy, Brenda, Agita and Sarah) made me feel welcomed and relaxed. My mouth was in bad shape -- but there was no judgment! The staff at SoCal Smiles just wanted me to feel at ease, so that they could help me. My comfort was Dr. Shahkarami's top priority. She wasn't about to let me be in any pain. Her bedside manner is tops! She's funny, kind, understanding, wiling to answer every single question and talk through everything if needed. With my comfort addressed, she was able to get everything I needed, done. I find joy in my visits! Dr. Shahkarami is the entire reason I was able to overcome my fears and make my smile healthy. I am so, so grateful. I have found my dentist for life. My teeth are now straight and beautiful, I have no cavities anymore, and the boost in self-esteem is irreplaceable. In short, choosing Dr. Shahkarami was the best decision I could have made!

Dr Shahkarami, is in one word, INCREDIBLE! She is kind and caring and extremely meticulous in everything she does. She contacted all of my doctors to make sure that I was in good health for the procedures that needed to be done. It turned out that some of the dental work could have involved major complications and had Dr. Shahkarami not checked and worked with my doctors, some of the work that needed to be done could have resulted in very serious problems. So far my teeth are at a point where they look beautiful even though more work is still needed. A HUGE THANKS to Dr. Shahkarami and her entire staff, hi Andy! There is more work to be done and I will be going back to her as needed. Thank you all so very much!

I came in for a severe tooth ache which turned out to be an abscess. I have been going to the same dentist since I was 4 years old, but upon moving here 5 months ago I haven't been able to get back to see him. I was very nervous about going somewhere else, but after reading the wonderful reviews on yelp I decided to try SoCalSmiles, and I'm so glad I did! I made an appointment online and also filled out my paperwork on Sunday evening (So convenient, by the way! Loved that!!) and by 10am Monday morning I received a phone call from from them to confirm. I spoke with Brenda over the phone several times about the reason I was coming in, my insurance (she tracked down the information for me, which was beyond helpful) and got my appointment moved up by a few hours. When I arrived this morning, the women at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful, and Brenda was just as sweet and concerned for me in person as she was over the phone. I was quickly seen by Dr. Altman, who was very friendly but straight to the point which I loved! I felt she was very knowledgeable and plan oriented. She looked at my X-rays and knew right away I had an abscess and wrote me prescriptions for an antibiotic and a pain medication. I was in so much pain and my face had become very swollen and tender to the touch all the way through my cheek bone and eye socket and down into my jaw bone due to the absccess, she was very empathetic and I could see that her a Brenda truly cared about my comfort. Dr Altman said that as soon as the infection had subsided her and the root canal specialits would like to see me back and decide on a plan of action. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience, even though I was in so much pain and my cheek was the size of a softball. They really made me feel so much better just with their bedside manner and caring nature. I definitely will be calling SoCalSmiles my new dental office!

Office looks great, staff is beyond friendly, Nora did my cleaning; she was very thorough; pain-free & professional. Dr Shahkarami was great, knoledgeable and friendly. Didn't push for any treatment nor made me feel guilty. Highly recommend this office.
