With over 20 years of experience, education, and knowledge of dentistry and prosthodontics, Dr. Torbati is well known throughout Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Century City for his smile enhancements and full mouth rehabilitation. It all starts with education, and Dr. Torbati has expertise to spare. He began his career by receiving his dental degree from the University of Southern California, graduating near the top of his class and in the top 2 percent of the national dental board.
Right after completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS), Dr. Torbati was awarded full scholarship to the post-graduate prosthodontics and dental implants specialty program at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. But it doesn’t stop there. After completing this prestigious program in 1992, Dr. Torbati returned to USC to complete their advanced prosthodontics certification program. Following completion of his second prosthodontics training program, Dr. Torbati was asked to teach at the USC Prosthodontic residency program. To this day, he still holds the title of Associate Clinical Professor of Advanced Prosthodontics.
Dr. Torbati’s pursuit of education has not ended at USC. He continues to seek out continuing education courses, often taking his staff with him, so that his entire team grows their knowledge and dental training. He puts in more hours than required by the State of California – because he believes in being a lifelong student.
Dr. Torbati’s dedication to continuing education has earned him Diplomate status by the American College of Prosthodontists.
