About Dr. Delano Hankins
Dr. Delano Hankins Jr., DDS, also known as Dr. Hank, returned to his hometown of Los Angeles to study at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
He was hired by his childhood dentist and mentor to serve as an Associate Dentist at the very office that first sparked his interest in dentistry. Dr. Hank garnered a large following on social media and an outpouring of patients eager to be under his care. Coined the "rapping dentist," he saw this as an opportunity to create a start-up dental office that would reflect his own culture within the field. He is now the CEO of HD Dental Studios.
Dr. Hankins continues to hold the same love and passion for dentistry that he had when he was nine years old. He is constantly seeking ways to evolve in his craft to provide his patients with the best care possible.

Dr Hankins has great bedside manner. He will not overcharge you, my previous dentist said that I had several cavities and he let me know that there were none. He is trustworthy, I would recommend him to anyone!

I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Hankins. I was referred to him by my coworker who told me she thoroughly loved not only Dr. Hankins but his warm and welcoming staff. I had my first appointment on 3/5/26 and from the start to finish I actually enjoyed my time at the dentist office. Not only were the staff extremely warm, welcoming and professional, but above all truly enhanced my already great experience. This is the most tech advanced dentist office I've ever had an opportunity to experience.

I had an amazing experience at HD Dental with Dr. Hankins! The office was clean, had fun decor, and an amazing playlist; the staff were all wonderfully friendly and kind, and explained everything they were doing; and Dr. Hankins was helpful and had a great energy. This is the best I've ever felt at a dentist's office, and I'm so grateful to be taken care of by this team. I'm thrilled to recommend this office to anyone looking!

Dr. Hankins and his team are all very knowledgeable, prompt & professional. I was checked in immediately upon arrival & taken back to a room in under 10 minutes. The office is welcoming & very clean. Every part of the visit was handled in a thorough and meticulous manner, and the team took the time to explain each part of the process.
I'll definitely be back & highly recommend, especially if you're a resident who's new to LA like me & looking for a new dentist. Everyone is friendly too, so if you're someone who gets a little nervous or anxious ahead of a dentist appointment you'll be at ease with Dr. Hankins.

You will no other dentist. My girlfriend tried to convince to see her dentist, but something told me to at least go to my appointment and i am so glad i did.
