A founding partner of Great Neck and Mid-Island Dental Associates, Dr. Tyrangel has been practicing dentistry on Long Island and in New York for 34 years. While Dr. Tyrangel excels in all areas of dentistry, his specialties are cosmetics and implants. He finds the beautiful and healthy smiles of grateful patients extremely rewarding.
Dr. Tyrangel attended Boston University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in 1973. Following graduation he attended NYU College of Dentistry where he earned a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1976. He completed his general practice residency program at Flushing Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Tyrangel is a lifelong resident of Long Island. He graduated from Herrick High School in New Hyde Park in 1969 and has been living in Woodbury for 30 years. He is married with three daughters. If his girls aren’t keeping him busy, he is usually on the golf course, as athletics still play a large part in his life.
