I was seen as soon as i walked in, 15 minutes before my appointment. Dr Makadia was very professional, i was a little nervous about the procedure but he showed me exactly what needed to be done and explained why. It was very reassuring. the procedure was quick and completely painless. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Ashokkumar Makadia has been providing excellent dental care to his patients in Bohemia, NY since 1986. His practice, Sunrise Dental Service, specializes in dental implants, laser gum surgery, orthodontics, root canal therapy, and cosmetic dental makeovers. In addition to these services, Dr. Makadia ensures that emergency visits are accepted and treated with due promptness, and promises same-day denture repairs.
Dr. Makadia is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. He received his medical education from the New York College of Dentistry. In 2001, Dr. Makadia completed a fixed and removable orthodontics residency, and in 2002, he participated in a maxi-course for dental implants at New York University. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. With a focus on alleviating patient anxiety and maximizing comfort, Dr. Makadia strives to align his patients’ teeth and jawbones to their proper position and relieve them from their pain.
In his spare time, Dr. Makadia enjoys reading and volunteers at his community church’s Sunday school.
