Dr. Ashraf Adam attended the University of Khartoum where he received his Doctoral of Dental Surgery. His dedication to lifelong learning inspired him to study further in the USA, eventually earning his Advanced Education in General Dentistry degree from Lutheran Medical in Boston, MA.
He started practicing dentistry in the US in 2008, in Massachusetts where he worked in the underserved area with Community Health Connections. He continued working there until 2011, where he enjoyed putting his patients at ease and caring for their dental needs. In 2012, Dr. Adam moved to Virginia with his family. He now works in both private practice as well as with the Head Start state health program. Dr. Adam is an experienced dental professional who has been practicing general dentistry for ten years and demonstrates a commitment to providing patients excellent dental care with the proven ability to perform complicated procedures, develop and recommend appropriate treatment plans, and encourage positive preventive maintenance.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of Advanced General Dentistry with expertise performing all oral surgeries including impacted wisdom teeth extractions, surgical extractions, crown lengthening, molar endo and implants. Dr. Adam holds continuing education among his highest priorities in order to provide his patients the best of care. He is currently in the process of completing an extensive curriculum in Progressive Orthodontics and Master Track Program in specialized Orthodontics.

I did not have an appointment, I just walked into the clinic with a sever pain in my tooth. I was expecting a waiting time of at least an hour. In less than 20 minutes I was called for an xray. Shortly after Dr. Abobaker saw me.
He was very professional and pleasant. He explained to me what might be wrong with me and gave me some medication to take care of the inflammation and scheduled me for treatment next week.

This is my second visit. Our dentist. Dr. Dania, is super thorough. She explains what she is doing and the patient is part of the decision making process.
One thing I am surprised at is that there is a WII FI but you can't access it. I think they should provide it.

It would’ve been nice to have been debriefed on the entire process of my visit today other than the root canal which I wasn’t fully made aware of the procedure until I asked questions. Maybe some patients don’t need to know but I was curious and wanted to know what to expect from start to finish. I didn’t even know the build & crown was a procedure that must be done right after the root canal until I asked the front desk to schedule my cleaning same day as root canal and she informed that the next step would have to be my build and crown.

Saw the root canal specialist who examined me and x-rays before. During those consultations I was given options one of them to make a follow-up appointment to treat root canal. When I showed up at the appointment the specialist said he can't do the treatment because he doesn't have the equipment. This was told to me after consultations prior to getting the appointment which I was asked to come earlier than my original appointment time. I would of liked to receive a phone call next time if the services cannot be performed rather than driving to the office and wasting time and fuel.
