Dr. Manson was born and raised in Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with honors in the Phi Beta Gamma National Honor Society. While there he achieved a double degree including a B.S. in Zoology and a B.A. in Anthropology during his Pre-professional studies.
During his attendance at the University of Maryland School of Dental Surgery, Dr. Manson was able to accelerate and complete his graduation requirements early enough to receive an additional year of advanced and specialized training in many areas of Dentistry not routinely taught on the undergraduate level. Subsequently, following graduation, he received the Irving Abrahamson Award for the senior dental student most proficient in all aspects of Endodontics, (Root Canal Therapy) both surgical and non-surgical, and the American Association of Oral Surgeons Award for the senior dental student most proficient in all aspects of practical Oral Surgery. In addition, Dr. Manson has had active participation in research publications involving bone regenerating techniques, as well as limited training in the Shock Trauma unit.
Dr. Manson lives and works in the Severna Park area with his 4 kids Jobi, Molly, Mallory, and Max.
Dr. Manson served the American Heart Association AHA as a certified CPR instructor/trainer in the Baltimore/Washington area for 15 years. Although his kids and motorcycle riding are his favorite hobbies, Green Snakeothers include, but are not limited to, raising and taming parrots, reptiles, music, reading, sports, coaching his children's sports teams in the Green Hornets Organization for football, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, basketball, and field hockey for the past 6 years, playing racquetball, 4-wheeling and dirtbiking with the kids.

Dr. Manson and his staff are professional, considerate and extremely competent. He has provided complete dental care for our entire family for the past 15+ years and I believe you would be hard-pressed to find a better dentist.
