A St. Louis, Missouri native, Ben Schultz completed his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the University of Michigan in 1980. In between his sophomore and junior years, he took off for seven years and raced bicycles throughout the United States and Belgium. In 1985 he graduated with honors from Georgetown University. Since that time he has maintained a commitment to continuing education, receiving in 1992 his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This award signifies a minimum of 1100 hours of continuing education, at least 400 of which are “hands-on”. He continues to attend between 50 and 100 hours of courses a year.

When not out riding his bike Dr. Schultz volunteers at a Bridgeport elementary school where he reads to fourth graders. Additionally he is a member of the board of directors and men’s club treasurer at his synagogue. He and his lovely wife live in Fairfield.
Dr. Schultz is a member of several dental societies, including the Academy of General Dentistry, where he has earned the Master's designation. He also belongs to the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, and the Connecticut State Dental Association. Locally, he is a member of the Westchester Academy of Restorative Dentistry (with a concentration on full-mouth rehabilitation) and the Fairfield County Dental Club (with an emphasis on dental implant reconstruction).
