Hello and welcome to our premier New York City practice located in midtown Manhattan! My primary focus as your dentist is providing conservative treatments, strong ethics and high quality dentistry in a friendly and gentle manner which I am most known for.
Dr. Choi's journey began from a small town in Washington, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Thereafter, he received additional training from Bellevue Hospital’s Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery Center and Gouverneur Dental Clinic in NYC. Throughout his training, he performed numerous implant placements, molar root canal treatments, surgical extractions, fixed and removable prosthetic treatments, periodontal surgeries, and cosmetic restorations.
Striving to be the “best” he became one of the youngest dentists to be certified as a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists during the 5th Annual Columbia University/ICOI Dental Implant Symposium.
Dr. Choi is also an attending doctor who supervises the residents at Bellevue Hospital Center Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery Center.
Dr. Choi constantly tries to improve his skills by attending conferences and studying on his own with genuine passion and desire to learn all aspects of dentistry.
Throughout his career, he has shown commitment to treating underserved patients by leading multiple local outreaches. He participates in dental mission trips with nonprofit Christian organization named SOMA to treat numerous underprivileged patients in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Dr. Choi is currently residing in midtown Manhattan with his wife, who works as a motion graphic designer for Nickelodeon and their adorable French bulldog named Lilly.

Dr. Choi and the office staff were amazing. I went in for an initial evaluation as a first time patient and I waited all of 9 minutes before I was seen by an assistant. Got my x-rays done promptly and Dr. Choi was there just as the initial prep was done. Dr. Choi explained everything clearly and with amazing bedside manner. We got a treatment plan set and I can't wait to get my dental health in order with the doc, which is saying a lot since I'm normally terrified of dentists. I'd recommend his office to anyone

I found this dental office and the doctor via online search, i made an appt via zocdoc and read some of the reviews and take a chance with this dental office. I got there on my scheduled appt, everyone was nice from the receptionist, the staff who took my x-ray and doctor Choi. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I will be back soon to try my first cleaning appt.

Dr. Choi is by far the BEST dentist I have ever met! He is very knowledgeable, bright, and goes above & beyond! His calming & sensitive demeanor helps me since I tend to be anxious at dentist appointments. Always responds when I have a question. His staff, Michelle and all who work here, are THE BEST and entirely friendly and so accommodating! I've had to reschedule a few times and they always assist me with a smile. I travel 400 miles to get here - and will continue to do so! God bless you guys!

I can’t believe I am saying this, but I look forward to my next visit. I came in the morning for a teeth cleaning and X-rays/general consultation. The staff was very welcoming and professional. They worked seamlessly, and got me in and out quickly. Dr. Choi checked my X-rays and gave me recommendations. He is extremely down to earth and easy going. There was no rushing me out of the office. Overall would recommend this office for anyone!
