Dr. Buttyan is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology and his expertise and "holistic" approach to oral health are sought after and revered by patients. He has 20+ years of experience treating patients with his vast knowledge and continued education in the human body as its physical wellness is linked to oral/dental health. Dr. Buttyan is certified in, and performs on several patients a day, a procedure for safely removing toxic metals from patient's teeth by combining cutting-edge techniques with state-of-the-art equipment and machines. Amalgam prosthetics were used in dentistry for centuries before the toxicity of the metals being used was exposed and linked to severe physical illnesses. Dr. Buttyan is now dedicated to reversing the epidemic of mercury-induced, suffering and replacing those mercury restorations in people's mouths with non-toxic materials that are also aesthetically appealing.
Dr. Buttyan graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate program at New Mexico State University. He began his own private practice in Grand Prairie and later acquired an office in New Mexico which is still under his ownership and is thriving with a staff of doctors and managers that he appointed and coached. Dr. Buttyan found Dental Arts of Plano the perfect match for him as the location and philosophies of the practice allow him to change the lives of patients whom also believe in the connection between dentistry and the entire anatomy and overall wellness of a person.
