About Dr. Woo Jang
Dr. Steve Jang chose to join Pinnacle due to its high standards in dentistry and its establishment as a private practice. Dr. Jang is pleased to have the opportunity to focus on patient care and best practices, without the pressures of financial performance that are often encountered in managed-care dentistry.
Before beginning his dental career, Dr. Jang graduated cum laude from Midwestern State University. He earned his DDS at the Dental School at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, ranked the fourth best program in the world in terms of published articles and eleventh in scientific impact, according to an international report by the Center for Science and Technology Studies in Bern, Switzerland. To further develop his clinical skills, he pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Veteran’s Administration in Temple, Texas. Through this residency, he gained high proficiency in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, oral surgery, implant placement and restoration, IV sedation, oral sedation, and other techniques. He also learned how to properly provide the most appropriate treatment plans for each patient, putting long-term dental health first.

Really enjoyed my overall experience. Did have to wait around 45-50 minutes before my appointment, but they were behind so understandable. Had to get additional dental work and they had availability the very next day. I was in and out for a cavity fill the next day within an hour!

All the staffs were very kind and they provided very detailed information of what treatments I need, price for each treatment, what treatments are covered by insurance what’s not. I am Korean and sometimes medical terms are hard to understand but the doctor here spoke Korean so that was plus to me. :) I strongly recommend this place.

Really enjoyed seeing this dentist for a cleaning! They took care of my cleaning and did some fillings for me in the same appointment. The insurance breakdown and costs were laid out for me before anything was done. I was going to write a positive review anyway, but they offer free fluoride in exchange for a positive review. Kind of a weird sales pitch, but they do deserve the 5 stars. I felt comfortable here and always was aware of what was happening. I definitely recommend this place and will be back in 6 months!

Cindy did a great job, preparing everything for the Dr. Nancy was super knowledgeable and friendly at check-in as well as when explaining procedure payments etc. Dr. Jang was friendly, to the point and efficient - didn't make me feel bad about not flossing everyday (which I always had happen at my last couple dentist offices). He obviously highlighted the benefits of flossing and general cleaning, but in a very non- condescending way. I appreciate that. Besides that, everyone was wearing masks and proper PPE - so I felt safe regarding COVID-19.

Awesome dentist!
I had been putting off dental exams after a terrible experience with a different dentist, but Dr. Jang made me feel at ease. Not only did they offer to change the tv to whatever I wanted, but he also explained everything he recommended, the reason behind it, and showed me what he was talking about.
Will definitely visit again.

It was wonderful! Tina was fantastic and so welcoming! Georgia was super nice and very easy to talk to. Helen who did my cleaning was superb and I've never had a better cleaning! Dr. Jang was awesome - super kind, answered any questions, checked in frequently with me as he went over information, and was overall AMAZING.

Absolutely incredible. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, I really felt at home. Tina is an angel. I spoke with her initially on the phone & she spent time explaining in detail what my visit would entail. She made feel so comfortable I love this place, service, , cleanness, for sure Dallas' best!! :)
