O had a good visit! Dr. Bri handled giving O nitrous for cavities filling very well. My daughter is not afraid of seeing dentist anymore which is a miracle.

Dr. Brianna Vandervoort is a board-eligible pediatric dentist and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. There, she fell in love with pediatric dentistry - volunteering for the organization Give Kids A Smile and spending time with the patients in the pediatric dental clinic at NYU. She was also able to share her passion for health and wellness by founding the Wellness Committee of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) at NYU. Health and prevention are two big components of pediatric dentistry that Dr. Vandervoort is passionate about sharing with her patients.
After dental school, Dr. Vandervoort completed a one-year general residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. This was followed by another two years at St. Barnabas Hospital where she completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry, serving as Chief Resident. There, she honed her skills treating patients with complex treatment plans as well as treating patients under general anesthesia, IV sedation, and oral conscious sedation. She also spent time working closely with patients with special needs. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). She enjoys attending the Annual Session of the AAPD to learn about the latest advancements and materials in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Vandervoort enjoys running and working out, watching documentaries, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and learning new cultures - even living in Madrid, Spain, after college working as an au pair for a family with two young children. She was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, spending her childhood summers in her favorite place - Lake Michigan. She attended University of Michigan where she studied the sciences, art history, and German - Go Blue!
