The whole appointment was a pleasure- which is rare to say about a dentist visit! The office is well- run and the office manager is a total sweetheart and very accommodating. Dr. Wexler is very knowledgeable and gives great advice about overall oral hygiene and procedures. I trust him completely.

My most recent appointment was excellent. As it always is. I was greeted warmly by Marsha the office manager who is so knowledgeable and helpful about insurance coverage tips and payment options when necessary. I received a thorough checkup and cleaning as well as some tips on better brushing by the dental hygienist. And Dr. Wexler in his review of my x-rays pinpointed areas to watch for as well as information about the time frame how long crowns and fillings usually last. I left the office feeling that the health of my teeth are gums are in good hands.

More about Dr. Chaim Wexler, DDS
Since graduating from Columbia University, School of Dentistry in 1984, Dr. Wexler has distinguished himself as an educator and clinician. He has been a leading voice for the integration of new technologies into the practice of dentistry. Starting with the establishment of his practice in Washington Heights in 1985, he has incorporated most of the truly significant advances in dental technology long before they were accepted by other practices. These technologies include the use of digital x-rays, electronic charting, lasers, mini implants, Invisalign®, and CAD/CAM (CEREC) dentistry. By combining and integrating these technologies, Dr. Wexler has devised new ways of completing treatment that are both easier and faster for the patient and less expensive due to increased efficiency.
For example, several procedures such as crowns and root canals that used to take several visits can now be completed in a signle hour appointment. Dentists from all over the world have come to watch Dr. Wexler work, or have attended one of his lectures. In 2002, and again in 2006, Dr. Wexler was awarded a prestigious certificate in Berlin, Germany to become a CEREC trainer for other dentists in the United States.
In 2003, Dr. Wexler was asked by Columbia University to direct the newly established course on CAD/CAM dentistry. In this position, Dr. Wexler has the responsibility to educate over 100 undergraduate and graduate dental students in understanding and utilizing this exciting new digital technology. Often you will find some of these students observing procedures being performed in our own private office.
Dr. Wexler has over two decades of experience in all phases of dentistry including orthodontics. He is a certified provider of Invisalign® and was one of the few general dentists invited to attend the recent Invisalign Summit held in Las Vegas.
Besides holding the title of Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University, Dr. Wexler has taught at NYU College of Dentistry and served as an attending at Hackensack University Medical Center. He has given numerous lectures all over the United States and Israel, and published articles in various dental journals.
Dr. Wexler and his office were featured in the September, 2006 edition of Dentaltown; a national magazine for the dental industry.

Dr. Wexler is always professional and kind. He makes his own crowns in the office so you can have a root canal done in about 3 hours. I would recommend him. His staff is very helpful and pleasant.

I had an agonizing bone chip protruding into my mouth from an extraction (provided by another dentist). Dr. Wexler diagnosed the bone fragment. Then, rather than refer me to an oral surgeon, he removed the bone shard himself quite handily.
By taking this initiative, Dr. Wexler saved me an extra trip to an oral surgeon, which would have been time consuming and costly, and might have resulted in more suffering. He relieved my pain in less than two minutes.
Dr. Wexler's performance went to the essence of medicine and dentistry. He applied his skills and experience to heal an injury and relieve suffering.
Dr. Wexler is also a top-flight endodontist--an expert in saving teeth with root canal surgery, crowns, implants, etc. As it turns out, he is resourceful in handling dental problems outside his specialty, as well.
I can't thank him enough. When I left Dr. Wexler's office this afternoon, I felt like my old healthy self. I often take my mouth for granted but where would I be without it? It provides some of my greatest pleasures. Now, because of Dr. Wexler's care, I can enjoy talking, eating and drinking. The world is once again a beautiful place. That is the power of healing.

Dr. Wexler is a great dentist! He really practices pain-free dentistry. I have recommended him to friends. He is an excellent diagnostician. He prioritizes what needs to be done now and what can wait. He has amazing technology which he's really good at using, e.g. he builds crowns in his office - no waiting. And you can watch it! He's quiet and unassuming, but communicative and direct about how your teeth and your gums look. And he has a great staff. The dental hygienists who work for him are gentle. And his office manager Marsha is so nice, and she gives tips about when to do what. Plus if you have an emergency they'll find a way to fit you in. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the service there.

My experience was wonderful. They were quick, consise, and were willing to work with some pretty peculiar requests. I went multiple times never waitedlonger than 5 or 10 minutes. Then when they sent me back to the room, I barely waited 2 or 3 minutes before Dr. Wexler came in. His staff is wonderful as well and they treated me with respect. Highly recommended.

Completely happy with my experience at this office. The staff, the facility, the quality of work and the cost, everything attributed to my satisfaction.
Making the appointment:
The office manager Marcia Meyers was incredibly kind & professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly thorough. I reached out to Dr. Wexler's office as a new patient, with private insurance. It was the end of the day and the office was closed the following day, but instead of hurrying me off the phone Marcia listened, asked questions where needed, and connected with my insurance company to let me know the exact amount of my co-pay for my upcoming visit. Utter professional.
First Bonus:
Dr. Wexler has Sunday office hours. As a person who work 9-5 M-F, finding times for dental visits is difficult.
The Equipment
Dr. W clearly invests money back into his office. The equipment is cutting edge and produced amazing results. Particularly the teeth imaging equipment that was used to make my crown. It was done same day, in house, under 30 mins.
The Work
Exceptional work! Dr. W took great care and detail to ensure the crown looks natural (I was absolutely terrified it wouldn't), but it looks amazing. Legit, absolute artistry. It's amazing the work he does in such efficient time. Completely happy!
Second Bonus:
Because Marcia is great at what she does, the cost was exactly what I was told, no surprises.
This was my first visit and I'm planning on returning.

Dr. Wexler and his staff are excellent. Not only up to date technology, but a great communicator, and an excellent diagnostician. I started seeing Wexler when he was not in my insurance network. I paid out of pocket because he is so good. Thankfully he is now in my network. I am confident in saying this practice is the best dental care I have ever received. I would recommend Wexler to anyone.

I have a fair amount of dental work to be done, some of which is correcting the poor work of a prior dentist. That cannot have been an easy message to convey. Yet Dr. Wexler was clear and detailed in his recommendation, which I appreciated, and he used good analogies to describe my options, without being condescending. Also, the office seems to be extremely well run. Everyone, from the office manager to the hygienists, seem to know precisely what they're doing.

The office is almost always on time. I have rarely had to wait there, and if I did, it was not for long. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. My children are seen there as well and I don't feel the need to take them to a special "pediatric" dentist, because the hygienist and Dr. Wexler interact well with them. Dr. Wexler is also not one to push unnecessary procedures and will send you elsewhere if he doesn't think he can best help you (this happened to me with a very difficult root canal). I highly recommend his office.

Dr. Wexler was good. However, receptionist - Martha did very poor performance,awful!!! Because I have a question on the bill (patient was overcharged money), she roars threaten to patient in front of the doctor, she said doctors may even lose the patient, but will not fire her. Neither professional nor respect for patients and doctors! Never seen any receptionist like her. Her performance will result loss of many patients, I do not advise anyone to go to the doctor if she is still working there!

AS always Dr. Wexler checks in and gives me his professional feedback on what I should do to maintain my oral health. He is direct and very knowledgeable in his field. His new dental hygienist, Willy, is superb. He did a thorough cleaning with Minimal discomfor and answered any questions I had. The doctor explained options and possible outcomes very thoroughly. He was gentle and fast. His hygenist (Aurea) was great. He has new technology and the clinic is very clean. The receptionist (Marsha? Masha?) was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I met a patient that had been coming to this dentist for 15 years!
