Dr. Martin was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated at the top of her class from the Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1984, and continued her education at the University of Michigan School of Orthodontics, again finishing at the top of her class.
Relocating to Tampa, Florida in 1987 to be closer to her parents, she opened her practice in the Town and Country area where she continues to practice. Dr. Martin currently resides in the Tampa Bay area with her two children, Jack and Lauren.
Her philosophy is to treat each patient as though they were a member of her own family. She strives to make the orthodontic experience easy and comfortable for the patient and their families. This philosophy, combined with a talented caring staff, has allowed her practice to continue to thrive resulting in hundreds of happy children and adults with beautiful smiles.
Dr. Martin is a current member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists and the Hillsborough County Dental Association.
