Dr. Shelton is/was excellent she was very knowledgeable about what she was doing and seem like she generally cares about your teeth! GREAT DENTIST!
However her first desk staff will mess up her ratings... It took all three of them to go over my treatment plan... And made me feel like I had no choice in the matter... I felt very overwhelmed and uncomfortable when it came to making a decision about spending MY money for my teeth... They need to try a different method.

I was trying to support a fellow HBCUer. The exam seemed nice enough. The hygienist didnt seem to like her job there. Building and exam room is very dated. Afterwards I was left to sit for about 10 minutes until i asked if I was done. I thought the prices were high so I asked for my x-rays and was charged even though my insurance already paid for it. Also the dentist seemed un nerved and asked me where I was going. The 2nd opinion I got was more thorough with an explanation for the treatment plan, friendlier and about 60% cheaper. I was also referred to a specialist at the 2nd dentist which was not done here. I would not recommend.
