Dr. Schumer's office is terrific for working me in at the end of the day because of my work schedule. As I had to have multiple procedures done Dr. Schumer and two of his staff kindly stayed after hours to complete all the procedures. I left the office with all procedures I had hope would be done having been done. Dr. Schumer and his staff go out of their way to be helpful and professional. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone looking for a great, upbeat, personable dentist and staff.

I have been having dental treatment from Dr. Schumer and his team for several years.He is the most professional general dentist that I have visited in my 78 years .All treatment has been totally pain free.He has explained all treatment and has included me in all dental decisions.He is also a very good teacher,I have enjoyed all of his explanations and suggestions .I highly recommend him.

Hello, my name is Dr. Corey Schumer. I come from the Midwest and grew up in the city of Farmington Hills Michigan. I am an avid golfer and dedicated family man. I moved my family to Tucson in April 2010, and fell in love with the city mostly because of the people I have met. Since arriving in Tucson my wife Jennifer, and children Kayla and Jacob, have developed friends and I have created a great network of health care providers to facilitate the best possible care for my patients.
I attended Wayne State University and achieved Pre-Bachelors acceptance to University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. This allowed me to finish school in fewer years than normal, and start providing quality services to my community. While working in Detroit, I was able to treat an under privileged and poor community, while enhancing my skills with very difficult and medically compromised patients.
I come from a family of dental professionals. My father is a general dentist in Michigan and my brother is a general dentist in New York. Growing up I had the privilege to watch my father provide dentistry to his patients, and the joy and comfort he brought them. This is what inspired me to enter the dental profession, making people smile.
I have many goals I would like to accomplish while being your dentist. My main goal is to provide quality dental care in a relaxed and inviting environment. I want to educate you, my patient, and make sure you understand why treatment is recommended and when it is recommended. I strive to set myself apart from other dentists in communication and comfort of my patients.

Dr Schumer was short-handed by 2 employees the day I saw him, but he saw me right away and did what we had scheduled which took almost an hour. His receptionist tried to reschedule the other patients by calling each one directly, and if they could not reschedule they were seen as planned. Very professional and very accommodating.

Dr Schumer is one of the most caring, friendly and professional dentists I have known, and I have known a lot of dentists. He sees patients during his lunch break if necessary and explains your options clearly so you can make an informed decision. Excellent services, friendly and thorough. Schumer will take photos and give you a detailed rundown of what needs to be taken care of and why. He will provide you with a plan for your continuing dental needs. I was in and out in no time and zero pain for a filling. Furthermore, I really enjoyed the technician that helped with my procedures. I don't recall her name because I am bad with names, but she did a superb job in taking care of me and walking me through details every step of the way. Overall experience was extremely pleasant, if you are someone that has any anxieties about dental work, they will be eliminated here. Personally, I am not sensitive to it, but they asked questions and genuinely took precaution if I had insecurities, even during the procedure. You will even have a good time with the front desk staff! Again forgive me with names, but the kind individual that scheduled me knew I was on a time crunch and went out of her way to be on the lookout and get me an appointment as soon as an opening came available. They are all extremely hard working individuals that have your best in mind as a team.

This was my first visit today; I was referred by another dentist (a specialist.) All of the office staff were professional and very pleasant. My evaluation was the most thorough that I've ever had. Dr. Schumer reviewed my x-rays, explained what I was seeing, the causes and what to expect in the future, made recommendations for "watchful waiting" in some areas and a recommendation for a minor procedure. The dental hygienist also gave the most thorough evaluation that I've ever had. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and standard of care provided. Many thanks to my specialist who referred me to this office!!

Dr. Schumer and his staff are incredible! They are very friendly, very thorough in their dental treatment and exams and recommend additional treatment only when they feel it is absolutely necessary. I also appreciate the fact that both Dr. Schumer and his hygienist staff give me a "heads up" on areas in my dental care that need to be watched and continue to monitor it and remind me of when we have reached the point where we need to act in order to prevent further problems.

I hadn't been to the dentist in 11 years, I was really expecting a horror story! But Dr. Schumer's office truly is a breath of fresh air. Not only is his staff friendly, professional, and competent, in the 4 visits I have had their, I can honestly say I have not been uncomfortable for one minute! I had a crown repaired, a few cavities filled, a cleaning, and some chips filled. great work, painless! I would recommend friends or my own family to this office, because it is obvious to me that they truly care about their patients, and it shows!
