Dr Grosskopf was very friendly and polite. In addition to quickly determining the root cause of my tooth pain, and prescribing a long-term method to address my problem, she also offered to proscribe some pain medication. She also recommended some antibiotics. The really cool outcome of my visit with her, is that the antibiotics worked to almost completely remove my pain symptoms! I have not had to use any pain medication at all.
I'm extremely grateful to Dr Grosskopf for her knowledge and her foresight. I would not hesitate to recommend her for ANY future dental care.

My curiosity for dentistry started as a child with my favorite Christmas special Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. I found myself repeating the infamous words of Hermey the elf, "I want to be a dentist".
My career path took a slight detour from dentistry when I decided to major in nutrition at the University of Texas in Austin. After completing a B.S. in nutrition, I worked full time as a clinical dietitian in the Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas while simultaneously going to school to complete pre-requisites for dental school. I officially started my dental career in 2003 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After graduating from dental school in 2007 I completed a two-year general practice residency in Augusta, Georgia where I learned the art of I.V. Sedation and dental implants. If two years of additional training wasn't enough, I decided to complete an additional two-year residency in Oral Medicine, where I studied the diagnosis and treatment of oral lesions and the diagnosis and management of facial pain at the University of Pennsylvania.
I currently reside in Austin, Texas. In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I especially have fun with my toddler son, Carsen.

It was great. I have been seeing Dr. Myers for the last few years but he was booked up solid so I had to go see Dr. Grosskopf instead. After my experience today, I can honestly say that I don't mind who works on my teeth there. It's systemic in this office - everyone there is awesome! It's great to know I will be treated with the same level of friendliness and professionalism by everyone who works there each and every time!

I highly recommend Dr. Courtney to anyone looking for a great dentist in the Austin area. I moved to Austin a while back and put off going to the dentist way too long. Dr. Courtney made it one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had during both of our appointments. I feel that a weight has been lifted off my shoulders knowing I have a Dentist that cares.

Dr. Courtney was so nice. I don't really like dental stuff, but she made me feel very relaxed. I also liked that I got to watch an episode of Psych on Netflix while she worked. It took away all those dental sounds! Great experience!!
