Dr. Dean Sabins, a Maryland native, completed his education in Baltimore, attending Mt. St. Joseph College High School, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Maryland Dental School - Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Prior to 2021, he spent his entire life in Maryland, primarily in Severna Park near Annapolis.
Professionally, 'Dr. Dean' has had a diverse career, including owning his own practice, participating in a dental partnership, and working as a dentist associate in multiple practices. He also had a successful stint as a computer programmer, owning and operating a company that sold practice management systems he developed, known as Dr. Dean's Software, with customers in 16 states, including Florida.
Dr. Dean is a father of three children—two daughters residing on the east coast of Florida and a son in Pasadena, Maryland. He also has three grandchildren. Dr. Dean enjoys his passion for exotic automobiles in his free time, having participated in numerous driving schools nationwide and even qualifying for an SCCA racing license, although he has not raced competitively. Since relocating to The Villages in Florida in 2021, his vehicle interests have shifted to modifying golf carts, extensively upgrading their performance, and customizing their interior and exterior.
Currently, Dr. Dean practices dentistry temporarily in Florida, filling in for various practices during vacations, sick leaves, and maternity leaves. He recently joined the Sage Dental Team and looks forward to offering his expertise and services to the company. Dr. Dean prides himself on his ability to explain complex dental situations and solutions in simple, understandable terms for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
