Dr. Dilini Peiris received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University, and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She continued with her dental education by completing her General Practice Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Peiris lives by the philosophy of treating the person, not just the teeth. Making a concerted effort to connect with and understand each patient's needs allows her to understand specific needs, thus enhancing her ability to provide personalized and comprehensive care in a relaxing environment. Dr. Peiris is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, all of which help her stay up to date in the practice of dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Peiris enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, traveling, being outdoors, and rocking out to country music.
