The attending dentist was capable, attentive, informative, and did satisfactory work.
The office staff, though attentive, would be more helpful if they informed themselves of the reason of the patient's visit by reading the written information on the appointment notice, so as to avoid confusion. Also, it would be cleaner, if not more professional, if the desk intake staff member is not eating lunch while handling the patient's papers, pen, ID card, and credit card.
The dentist, I would see again.

I chose Levy Dental from my insurance network after my longtime dentist retired, but my experience was frustrating from start to finish. I do not recommend this facility.
The front desk staff rushed me through paperwork, telling me to “just sign where they tell me.” I was assigned a different dentist than the one I booked, with no explanation. When I asked, I was told the original doctor changes schedules last minute, and most patients don’t mind.
My cleaning was routine, and my teeth were deemed “excellent,” yet the dentist immediately pushed a crown without discussion, saying it would "feel better in my mouth." At checkout, she attempted to schedule me for two fillings—something never mentioned during my visit.
This office lacks transparency and professionalism. I will not return and do not recommend this practice.

Excellent experience! I needed a cavity to be filled and the doctor was able to do it while I was at her office. She explained everything very clearly and let me know my copay ahead of time. I will definitely be back!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office. After scheduling an appointment well in advance, I arrived on time only to be told that they had "screwed up" my appointment and I would need to wait an additional hour before being seen. The waiting room was packed and it was clear that the office was overbooked. Not only was this unprofessional, but it was also extremely frustrating to have my time disrespected in this way on the weekend. I will not be returning to this office and would not recommend it to anyone seeking dental care.

I did not feel the dental cleaning was thorough enough. The water pick was used, but then very minimal scraping with the dental tool. I was able to scrape missed buildup off with my fingernail (when double checking the sensation) after my appt. I was unhappy with this compared to my previous dentist. I get biannual cleanings to rid of any plaque buildup and this was not done up to my standards.

The reason I visited today was for an emergency root canal. Dr. Shapiro was very understanding and worked with an already busy schedule to make sure I got the care I needed. What could have been a really terrible experience was made better by the whole office’s attentiveness. Several times during the procedure, Dr. Shapiro checked to make sure I was handling it okay. It wasn’t necessarily an enjoyable experience, but it wasn’t the root canal horror stories I’ve heard.

Easily one of the smoothest dental experienced I have had. I was well attended throughout by a great staff who were all very friendly and helpful. The cleaning I scheduled was the best and most thorough I have had and I left the practice extremely satisfied with all levels of service. Highly recommended.

I was able to get an X-ray and cleaning appointment easily and the staff helped make the check-in process quick.
I had a a short wait after filling out the new visit paperwork and once I was in the room the dental hygienist Silvana was so knowledgeable, positive, kind, and helpful that the appointment went by quickly and painlessly. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Levy’s office!

Dr. Shapiro was amazing! I hadn’t been to the dentist for a few years, and she made me feel comfortable, was extremely knowledgeable and honest, and didn’t try to upsell me or push me to get procedures I don’t need. The icing on the cake is that her cleaning technique didn’t hurt my teeth and gums like so many dentists and hygienists have in the past. Seriously, an A+ experience.

She is delightful, walked me through the whole appointment and is overall very pleasant.
I will be recommending her to anyone I know who’s looking for a good dentist.
