Dr. Doron Kalman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1995. In 1996, he completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Catholic Medical Center and went on to complete 4 years of surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center/The Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency in 2000, Dr. Kalman entered into private practice with Dr. William K. Kopp who retired from private practice in 2008. Dr. Kalman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and a Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Kalman is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial surgeons. American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and Queens County Dental Society. Dr. Kalman served on the Board of Trustees of the Queens County Dental Society in 2007 and currently serves as its' President. He is an adjunct professor at Long Island Jewish hospital.

Dr. Kalman was wonderful. I was nervous about getting my wisdom tooth out and he definitely kept me calm with his bedside manner. The procedure was done in 15 minutes - I couldn't believe it! The office is very nice and all of the technicians I dealt with were good, too.

This is my second time dealing with this wonderful doctor and office. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kalman and his staff. Everything is very organized and everyone is very professional, that's number one. Second and most importantly, Dr. Kalman is a true pro at what he does, and has a great bedside manner. He took out a root that was left of my tooth effortlessly and I did not experience any problems afterwards and he did my implant which has been in for four years without any problems. When I came back to his office to have my wisdom teeth removed at the advice of my dentist, Dr. Kalman explained that there was no need to do this procedure now and I really appreciated his honesty and expert opinion. I highly recommend this office for any oral surgery any of my family or friend might have. My mother-in-law has had her implants done there too at my advice and is very happy as well with Dr. Kalman's work.

This is my second time going to Dr Kalman for a wisdom tooth extraction. I was seen right away and no long waits in the office, his staff are kind and friendly. Dr Kalman is awesome, very professional and has a calming presence and took into account that I was feeling nervous. He took his time and explained to me what he was doing, and the extraction itself was over in a minute or so, he is very skilled at what he does I didn't even realize he was done! At the end, nearly 24 hours later I'm virtually pain free, no swelling either! Only downside is I waited 2 months to get an appointment with him because he is so booked up, but that really is saying how good he is. Highly recommend.

First and foremost I am petrified of any type of dentist or oral surgeon, I had a bad experience. However my experience at this place was spectacular. I did not get Dr. Kalman but the other doctor I got was fantastic and the staff was just very very accommodating. I went in for a consultation to get two wisdom teeth out and had it done within the same hour, i couldnt ask for better service nor could I ask for better bedside manner from the staff and doctor himself. I would recommend these guys to anyone who has a strong fear of dentistry!!

the office was nice. the doctor was nice and professional. after a few weeks i received a bill from them and i was disappointed. the staff told me i was covered but they did not explain & made me aware how much i will pay out of my pocket. very disappointed how they manage the billing.

The office was busy but still managed to get me in on time. The receptionist answered all my questions and was very friendly. The surgeon I saw understood my needs as a professional singer and helped me to find a solution that would work best for me. It was an excellent visit.

Dr Kalman was so professional and made me feel at ease throughout the entire extraction - from the the prep to the actual wisdom tooth extraction he was calm and precise and the whole extraction was over in a matter of minutes. I was nervous as it was the first time I was doing this and he made jokes to make me feel more comfortable and the TV playing in front of me was a welcome distraction. I had next to no pain post surgery and I believe that is because of how skilled his method is when it comes to extractions. The office is also very nice and the desk staff friendly. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kalman really takes the time to answer all of your questions and concerns. I never felt rushed. His office and staff were awesome. The DR. Called me the day after the surgery to check on me. Not his staff but the DR. Himself. This guy is a class act from start to finish. I highly recommend him.
