Shaquita called me before my appointment about my dental insurance (whole mess due to the insurance company's fault, so will not address here), and was so kind and helpful. I got there a few minutes late to my appointment, but was still seen within 5-10 minutes after I completed the new patient paperwork. Tori (sp?) then led me to my exam chair, and Becca (sp?) did the x-rays for my cavity. Dr. Tran's bedside manner is amazing! Explained everything to me and was very patient with all of my questions. Unfortunately she did not have any availability for a while for both of my fillings, but I will see her on Friday for my cleaning and annual exam (missed last year's because of moving across the country and covid). Eric helped with my insurance questions, and Shaquita helped me schedule my fillings with another doctor (today, as I was in far too much pain to wait any longer--thank you Paul, Dr. Havel, Lina, and sorry I forgot the person who checked me in!) Feeling great now, and so happy to find a dentist/practice that is professional, kind, and responsive! Going to get my spouse to switch here for his next appointment!

Dr. Tran grew up in Chicago, Illinois where she completed Master of Science degree in Biotechnology at Rush University. She then pursued her Doctor in Dental Medicine training at Midwestern University in Illinois where she received the Award of Excellence in Patient Care.
Growing up, she has always had a terrible and traumatic dental experience. Being in the patient’s perspective, Dr. Tran personally understands the importance of meeting the right doctor who can properly diagnose, treat, and educate patients in oral health and overall wellness. Dr. Tran is committed to making a difference in the community. Her goal is to deliver a positive dental experience with an emphasis on comprehensive dental care, patient education, and comfort. She is a dedicated practitioner who commits to lifetime learning through evidence-based dentistry and continuing education courses to treat her patients with the latest knowledge and technology.
Dr. Tran is devoted to providing care for the underserved communities. She is an active member of community outreach programs. Recently, she completed a Dental Mission trip to the Dominican Republic to provide free restorative and surgical dental treatments to the citizens of Samaná. In addition, she has also volunteered at the Mission of Mercy at Illinois to provide dental services to adults and children. She desires to continue her travels in hopes to deliver dental care locally and abroad.
Outside of her profession, she loves traveling, biking down Lakeshore drive, and playing tennis.
