Dr. Ece Agirgol was born in Instanbul, Turkey and completed her Dental Medicine training at Marmara University. While practicing orthodontics in Instanbul, she co-authored research on the prevalence of supernumerary teeth and their identification. Dr. Ece continued her research at the prestigious Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she helped to develop techniques using artificial intelligence to predict bone development.
Dr. Ece began her specialty training in Orthodontics at Boston University and completed her Orthodontic residency at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Both highly competitive programs focused on innovation, Dr. Ece is able to treat some of the most advanced cases with modern techniques.
Dr. Ece enjoys being able to meet and treat patients of all ages with orthodontics. She looks forward to growing the patient relationship throughout orthodontic treatment and particularly enjoys the fine details of each unique case, hoping to achieve the most cosmetic and functional results. She employs a multi-disciplinary approach that focuses on harmony, natural symmetry and long term stability.
During her off time, Dr. Ece enjoys traveling and visiting new restaurants. She hopes to one day take a gourmet food tour through Spain and Italy! Dr. Ece plays the violin and also enjoys a good SciFi movie or Romantic Comedy.
Dr. Ece loves the heat of San Antonio, its history and culture as well as the small town feel of such a large city. Catch her around town discovering new restaurants or hanging at The Pearl.
