Dr. Elaine DeRoode personally treats every patient, which ensures the highest level of customer service.
Originally from The Netherlands, she immigrated to Miami with her husband, Luis, via Las Vegas, NV. She graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious UCLA, School of Dentistry and went on to specialize in Orthodontics at Columbia University. She was one of 10 students in her graduating class to be invited to be a member of OKU Dental Honor Society.
Currently, she serves the community by volunteering her time as an orthodontic consultant at Miami Children’s Craniofacial Clinic and teaching at Lindsey Hopkins Dental Residency Program.
She is President of the Miami Dade Dental Society and Vice President of the South Florida District Dental Association.
When out of the office, you will find her with her kids, Alejandro and Simone. The enjoy spending time outdoors, enjoying the beach, paddleboard, pool, and BBQ. One thing people are surprised to learn about Dr. deRoode is that she was an International Flight Attendant for Delta Air Lines for 3 years before beginning her career as a dentist.
