JUST INCREDIBLE. Literally the best dentist appointment I have EVER had. Dr. Guttman is simply amazing - super kind, talkative (so if you're not into that, maybe wear headphones or something lol - but still go, because he's so great!!), and so gentle. Front desk staff also excellent. No issues with insurance - they called to verify it worked and it took only a couple minutes. I'd go back any time and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Elliott Gutman graduated in 1973 from the University of Pennsylvania with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the First District Dental Society, the Ninth District Dental Society, and the Riverdale Dental Society. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow of the Westchester Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Gutman has completed over 1,500 hours of continuing education courses. He serves on one of the committees for the Greater New York Dental Meeting. Dr. Gutman and his wife, Brenda, have four children.

So glad I went to this dentist. I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to find a neighborhood dentist. All the work was done by Dr. Gutman, who was efficient and thorough. Very chatty but in a lovely, kind way. It made me comfortable but didn’t slow down his work. It is clear he cares about his patients and is proud of his profession.
It was only a cleaning this time but I have major dental work coming up and feel confident to continue to use his office.

I generally feel comfortable with Dr. Gutman. I've had worst experiences with other Manhattan dentist, but Dr. Gutman always seems fully competent and trustworthy. He's also close to my home!
