THE PROFESSIONAL SIDE
Dr. Endres went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Endres was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, dentistry’s most prestigious honor society, as well as the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and the Gorgas Odontological Society.
After dental school, Dr. Endres sought advanced education and completed a general practice residency at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center where he received extensive training in dental implant surgery, endodontics (root canal treatment), and sedation dentistry. Dr. Endres completes countless hours of continuing education in prosthodontics, dental implant surgery, cosmetics, endodontics, and general dentistry each year seeking out the best modern techniques and technologies.
THE PERSONAL SIDE
Hi! My name is Eric Endres. I grew up in Hunt Valley, MD, went to Maryland for both college and Dental School, and plan to be a Marylander for the rest of my life. My childhood was a balance between being a bookworm and playing soccer, basketball, or baseball every day with my brothers. I’m the oldest of four with two brothers and a little sister, all of whom are happy I became a dentist because they’ll never need dental insurance again. Nowadays I spend more time rooting for the Baltimore Ravens than playing sports myself but I cannot wait to have kids of my own so I can start coaching.
I am luckier than I ever imagined because I get to practice with my wife, Dr. Elise. She and I went to dental school together and she is undoubtedly the most caring person I have ever known. I also tell her that she is smarter than me and she says I’m just being nice, but it must be true because she is pursuing a residency in orthodontics.Though we haven’t started our family yet, our two dogs are more than a handful. Tucker is a 5-year old Australian cattle dog and Lily is a 2-year old golden retriever.
