Such an amazing dentist, the best I've ever seen in New York! Amazing bedside manner, she's refilled many of my old fillings and they are better than ever. She and her staff always will fill you in on insurance info and what is covered/not covered. You always feel like you're having your procedure with full knowledge of the price and treatment plan.

Dr. Buyco is best described as a personable, dedicated, and gentle dentist who genuinely cares for the oral health of all her patients. She strongly believes in providing comprehensive treatment while also educating her patients to ensure they understand the causes of their dental issues, what the best treatment options are, and most importantly, how to prevent these issues from recurring.
Her warm chair-side manner and exceptional communication skills contribute to her success on prevention and conservative dental treatment to help patients increase the longevity of every tooth and maintain a lifetime of excellent oral health. Dr. Buyco will listen to you, create a personalized treatment plan that is specific to your individual needs, and will take the time to answer all your questions.
Aside from caring for her patients, Dr. Buyco's interests include health and fitness, hiking with her dog Coco, exploring new restaurants, and trips to San Francisco to visit her family. She is an active world traveler whose experiences with different cultures has enabled her to connect with all of her patients.
Dr. Buyco earned her D.D.S at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, the only accelerated dental program in the country. After her studies, Dr. Buyco then continued her advanced training and residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. Additionally, she is an active faculty member at Columbia School of Dentistry where she provides hands-on clinical instruction to dental students.

I love Dr Buyco. She’s super attentive and takes very deliberate care of her patients. I never felt rushed or like she was just trying to get to the next person. Most important, her work is quality. I ended up going to her because my last dentist did poor work and I had chronic pain. Dr Buyco repaired what the other dentist botched and my mouth feels great - in pain free! I feel absolutely confident when she’s recommending something for me and I’ve recommended her to all my coworkers. A few took my word for it and they’re regulars as well now. I highly recommend.

I was so nervous about going to the dentist because I hadn't been in several years. Dr Buyco couldn't have been friendlier or more clear and my panic and shame quickly went away. I also felt like in just one visit I was set up on a clearer path to dental health! I am so relieved to have found a dentist I like!!

This is how healthcare should always be. I’m a new patient so I arrived 15 minutes early to enter my information (on their iPad, the whole office is very Techy) and immediately after completing I was escorted to my room (with a stellar view of St Patrick’s might I add). Both her assistant and Dr. Buyco were extremely efficient, warm, and attentive. Unlike many other doctors she explained everything in full and took her time with me and made me feel like I was the center of her attention for the hour. I’ve never had such a customized visit where I felt like they genuinely cared about me. I will 100% be making this my regular dentist. She was even super honest with me in regards to some orthodontia treatment I was asking for and pointed out her own similar flaw! How transparent! I can’t recommend them enough, they genuinely care about the patients and the guidance they offer. Hands down a must.

Dr. Buyco never disappoints. She is thorough and really puts her patients oral health above all else, ensuring that the patient fully understands what is being done during the procedure and what to expect upon the follow up visit. Her office exceeds expectations with a pictureqsue and soothing ambiance, so while you are sitting in the chair you are looking out towards an NYC landmark, St. Patrick's Cathedral. Her team is diligent and efficient in getting you in and out on your way.
