I actually happened to make an appointment on a day Dr. Windom was out, but honestly it doesn't matter because I had an AMAZING experience in this office. Right off the bat the staff helped me out with trying to figure out if my insurance was accepted, even going as far as taking my information and calling my insurance for me to see what I was covered for. Every single person I encountered, from the receptionist to the x-ray tech to the dentist who reviewed my x-rays to the two women who actually cleaned my teeth, was incredibly warm and friendly. They made my visit quick and painless. I have never written a view for anything in my life but this office deserves it! I will be back :)

Born and raised in Oxnard, CA. Upon graduating from Oxnard High School, joined the U.S.A.F and served in Viet Nam. Using the G.I Bill, enrolled at Ventura Junior College. Finally, he was accepted to and graduated from the U.S.C. School of Dentistry; where his colleagues acknowledged his exceptional tooth carving skills. Known as the Dancing Dentist from coast to coast, for cutting the rug at the dental conventions. Dr. Windom held a private practice for 15 years and worked for a couple of very large dental corporations; before landing the top position for G.S. Frankel Dental Group 21 years ago. Dr. Windom expertise is listening to the patient, diagnosing, treatment planning, educating and giving options; while staying within the patients budget. "Everyone has a budget," he says. He, also, consults with the other doctors and our two, in house, laboratories, to keep a smooth running operation. When not administrating, he uses his expertise in removable prosthodontics, to solve problems with difficult full and partial dentures. Most of the patients have become his friends over the years. They laugh, joke and share information about family and life. He, sometimes, tortures them watch his dance video. They know that they can trust his diagnosis and treatment plan, because it's not all about the money. The patriarch in his greater family, so he spends spare time solving family issues and attending functions. A father to a daughter, a son, a son-in-law and two grandsons, in his immediate family. He is teaching his grandson to dance; he's a natural. Dr. Windom likes to people watch and attempt to make all people around him comfortable: while making them smile. "Life is good," he say's.

Had a cleaning and when I looked at my mouth in the car mirror saw my inner cheek had several cuts and damages to it from the dental instrument! There was also a bulge of bloody tissue and the healing process so far is painful.
