Dr. E.J. Pyeun-Kim (Dr. Kim) was accepted to University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey through an early acceptance program and received his DMD degree in 2004. He then joined the United States Navy for next three years, serving the sailors and the marines all over the world. Upon completion of his military duty, Dr. Kim moved to Washington state in 2007. After practicing as an associate dentist for several different clinics in Seattle area for about a year, Dr. Kim opened Everlast Family Dental Clinic in Tacoma in 2008. He finds it a blessing to be a part of the Central Tacoma community and it has been wonderful few years serving dentistry to such diverse group of people from all over Pierce county and beyond.
Dr. Kim is a member of Pierce County, WA state, and American Dental Association. Through the years he has attended numerous continuing education courses, including disciplines in oral surgery, orthodontics and implants among others. Dr. Kim lives with his wife, Kaitlyn and three daughters, Lois, Evie, and Brielle in Auburn. He is an active participant in city soccer league in Federal Way, and slowly converting to be a 12th man for the Seahawks in recent years.

The whole office was great. Even though they were behind it wasn't a big deal. Just happy I was able to book an appointment online for after my work hours. Unlike my dentist told me I would have to be a walk in. Which I couldn't take time off. Will be going back for my actually cleanings and everything.

I liked that the dentist and assistant were concerned about my pain and sensitivity while cleaning. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. I love that they accept Apple Health for adults! I drive 40 miles to come here.
