About Dr. NamThien Vu

I was born and raised in Olympia, WA where I attended Capital High school. I then attended the University of Washington for dental school. After receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at UW, I left Washington state for the first time to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada. At UNLV, I learned more advanced procedures such as implant placement, sedation techniques, and surgical techniques. My love for the Pacific Northwest drew me back home where I have been working in private practice in Bellevue and Mukilteo, finding a home in downtown Seattle. I met my beautiful wife, Jess, while playing kickball in the Underdog Sports League in Seattle. We immediately hit it off and married in 2019. We welcomed our precious daughter, Ara, in December of 2020. Jess and I fill our weekends with afternoon walks around Green Lake, skiing, and attending UW Huskies tailgates. I also enjoy watching sports, playing golf, and hosting BBQs with friends and family. I really enjoy meeting people and learning about everyone's diverse background, as my family, as well, has their own unique story. To be able to combine this with helping patients achieve their very best oral health is just icing on the cake. I look forward to meeting you soon at Summit Dental Care!
