More about Dr. Fabiola Milord, DDS
Dr. Milord obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her General Practice Residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center and a Dental Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Through international and domestic not-for-profit organizations she has taken part in more than 30 medical missions in countries such as Ghana, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, South Africa, St. Lucia, St. Vincent’s,the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and Missions of Mercy in upstate New York.
Inspired by her travels and the need to emphasize oral health as a basic human right, in May 2013, she completed a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in global health leadership at New York University, where she currently holds the position of Clinical Instructor at the College of Dentistry. She is one of the recipients of the 2017 Outstanding Teacher Award.
In 2019, she was awarded Nassau County Dental Society's Humanitarian Award. In 2008, she was awarded the Certificate of Recognition for Volunteer Service in a Foreign Country by the American Dental Association. In May 2014, she was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters, from Adelphi University. Dr. Milord has also been an invited speaker at The Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, The Center for Public Health Education at SUNY- Stony Brook, and the The Center for Positive Health at Nassau University Medical Center. She has also lectured abroad at the World Health: Special Focus on Haiti 2nd Annual Conference.

She was good. She does everything herself from start to finish. I wasn’t expecting that structure where she does the intake and paper work with you, but it turned out to be good.
Dealing with just one person instead of telling the same thing to two or three different staff members.
She does the checking you in, to cleaning and any other required procedures. She goes through everything throughly and easy to communicate with.
She’s honest and does a great job. And most importantly, she takes my insurance!
I will see her again.
