I love going to Farah's office, even though I live a 25-minute drive away, I choose to take the trip because I get to go to the Marina, see the boats & bay, + see my friends at Smile SF. They always treat me so well from the welcoming receptionist, the dental hygienist's treatment, and Farah's clear-cut yet caring specialty, her attention to detail is unmatched. So glad I found them! :)

At Smile SF our mission is to provide comprehensive, yet most efficient, relaxing, and comfortable care possible, for every patient we see.
Dr. Farah Sefidvash has been practicing dentistry in the Marina/ Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco since 2000, after graduating from UCLA School of Dentistry and her UCSF post-doctorate training in hospital dentistry. She obtained her implant dentistry training from New York University.
Dr. Farah performs all general dental procedures, including tooth-colored fillings and bondings, porcelain crowns and bridges, root canals, oral surgery, dental implants, and gum disease related treatments. She specializes in cosmetics including veneers, Lumineers and Botox dental therapeutics.She is a preferred provider for Invisalign (clear braces), and a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and the American Academy of Dental Implantology.
Dr. Farah is constantly honing her dental skills with continuing education classes, and she avidly follows and tests every promising new technology on the market.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Farah is passionate about San Francisco, yoga, dancing, and martial arts practice.

Horrible experience! Sketchy business practices including secretly overcharging (over the course of a year) and advertising herself as an in-network provided but charging me as out-of-network for her services.
I've also talked to 8+ people at my work that have had awful experiences with her.
Was also recommended for a deep clean and when I got a second opinion it wasn't necessary.
I had to open up an investigation with my insurance provider and they went back and forth with Dr. Farrah's office to get me my money back that I was improperly charged.
Also feel bad for her receptionists having to cover up for her awful business practices (I've seen 3 in the past year so turnover rate is high).
DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

As someone who has a phobia around dental work, I was hesitant at first to schedule an appointment, however from the very first call, I was immediately put at ease.
Everyone from the receptionist, dental hygienist, dental assistant, and of course Dr. Sefidvash herself were some of the most patient, kind, and supportive people I've ever met.
Really, they treat you like family here, and I left feeling empowered and part of a team in my mission toward better dental health.
Service aside, they have an extremely smooth and efficient process that never left me feeling rushed or waiting. Everything was absolutely seamless and medical need drove the way things ran versus barriers in schedule and any other process-related considerations.
Honestly, this is the best healthcare experience I've ever had in my entire life. To say I would recommend this place is a huge understatement. I won't go anywhere else for as long as I live in the Bay Area.

Farah's office had a deal on Invisalign a while back and after lots of research I felt like her office was closest to me and had the best deal. She didn't have any patient reviews which is what made me a little nervous about the whole thing but i'm glad I decided to give her a try anyway.
Everything went very well! Farah and her team made sure to explain the whole process in detail to me before I signed up. They also took the time to answer any questions I had during my treatment. The whole thing took less than a year because of the type of fixes I needed (time may vary depending on your teeth). I had a protruding tooth which was my reason behind the whole thing but learned that a lot of my teeth weren't straight. The appointments were always very quick check ups and now I have very straight teeth! Everyone notices and compliments my smile! If you're thinking about Invisalign it's pretty amazing! No one noticed I had the treys on my teeth or the "buttons" that keep the treys in place. It was an easy experience and HIGHLY recommend getting the treatment with Farah and her team!

I've had multiple appointment with Farah, and I I'm pleased to say they were all delightful. The receptionist is very friendly as well as the Doc and her assistant.
No pain with the injections always very considerate of your wellbeing and willing to help out in any way.

Exceptional....While at my last visit I encountered another patient in the office that shared my thoughts of Dr Farrah Sefidvash. the thought was we are never in FEAR when in Dr Farrahs office . She takes great care to be through and consoling while also being re assuring.She makes the worst or painful situations as easy and bearable as possible. She careful kind and compassionate and really really smart.She even makes needles easy.SIMPLY AMAZING . My visit with Dr. Farah today was perfect. I have been a patient of Dr. Farah for about 4 years for both Invisalign and dental work. Dr. Farah carefully explains the recommended dental work to the patient. She is very concerned that one understands the procedures and that there will be no pain. The office is immaculate and the office manager is very warm and friendly. I could go on and on recommending Dr. Farah's excellent dental work as I am now so proud of my teeth/smile with having Dr. Farah as my dentist.

My visit to have a crown replaced was pleasant, comfortable and easy for me. The services by Dr. Farrah, Paul & Andrea were excellent. Dr. Farrah always explains what is going to be done and gives me a choice if possible. No pain and the crown was perfectly fit! Great overall experience. I have dental anxiety and was dreading finding a new dentist. I found Dr Farah on Zocdoc and booked an appointment online. Was seen right away for a cleaning. I had a tooth that needed a root canal. She gave me Nitrous that helped a lot and I managed to take a snooze during the procedure, no pain. Great modern office.

I was very impressed by my visit with Dr. Sefidvash. I was welcomed into the exam room the minute I arrived (on time) and the procedure was done within an hour as promised. I was given headphones to use so that I could listen to music, which I appreciate since I had forgotten my own. The procedure went smoothly and my mouth was completely recovered by 2 pm that afternoon. I plan to use Dr. Sefidvash for future cleanings and oral procedures and highly recommend her practice.
