About Dr. Santiago Uribe
Dr. Santiago Uribe's enthusiasm for dentistry began when he was a young boy undergoing orthodontic treatment. He was fascinated by the process and eagerly asked questions about his care. Dr. Uribe was so involved in his own orthodontics that he even performed oral photography and wire bending on his braces. It wasn't long before he decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Uribe graduated from CES University in 1997 and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Santiago Uribe and Staff were great! Dr. Santiage Uribe went out of his way to find an accommodation for me since my skin is not a fan of fluoride toothpaste and showed me X-Rays of where I need to keep an eye and brush more thoroughly. Thank you, Dr. Santiago Uribe!

The care was fine but the appointment setting software, Zocdoc, asks for "sex assigned at birth" with no regard to pronouns, gender, or gender identity. Also the dentist misgendered me during the appointment. They corrected themself quickly which is fine. But I try not to visit or recommend places when there are easy alternatives that won't make the mistake of trans exclusionary practices. If it happens again I'll never come back, which will cost me a lot of money.

So impressed with how professional and friendly the staff are. Never ever once felt uncomfortable. Dr. Uribe is very gentle and personable. His staff was warm and gracious. I don’t think I’ve been so pleased with a dentist visit.

Dr. Uribe and his staff were very professional and helpful. It has been a long time since I visited a dentist, and rather than chide me for lapsing he focused on my current condition, how to address it, and laid out a clear plan for improvement.

Susie was incredibly friendly and welcomed me right away. She was very thorough in letting me know about my coverage. Bianca was also very friendly and attentive. Dr. B was very kind and informative. She gave me very helpful tips and advice. They all took their time and made me feel like they were really taking care of my best interests. I highly recommend this office!

This was my first time coming to Dr. Uribe. My visit was prompt, fast and easy! My appointment was an hour long, it didn't feel long or cut short. Dr. Uribe was friendly, helpful and super knowledgeable. He provided suggestions and recommendations to keep a healthy happy denture!

Great doctor. Thoroughly explained the dangers of periodontal disease and how bone cannot grow once damaged. I am at this point, unfortunately, due to incorrectly flossing my teeth for many years. Ironically, I brush my teeth after every meal, but I guess tartar had built up along the gum line.
I could tell Dr. Uribe was irritated that I was not doing what he prescribed, which was flossing properly every night--again, I ironically do this already. His manner seemed a bit rush, but I can sympathize, as he had other patients to see to. He answered all of my questions and provided explanations, but his dental assistants were very helpful in differentiating between proper and improper flossing with demonstrations--I mean, how was I supposed to know what "hugging the tooth" meant when it came to flossing?

I won't be back to this office. From the moment I entered the door, the office felt run down. Then, when I was treated, I realized that it was only "semi-private." All patients are treated in one open room with only small separations in between. Thus, you can see and hear other patients being treated while you're in the dentist chair. I did not like this experience at all--it made me uncomfortable.

Amazing dentist. By far the best I've had. Prior to finding Dr. Uribe, I had a number of difficult experiences with dentist offices in the Bay Area. Dr. Uribe and his practice are professional, helpful, kind and practical. They are extremely thorough and make recommendations tailored to your personal situation. The office staff is very helpful with billing and willing to work with patients on navigating insurance issues.

He's no-nonsense, does his job, and gets you on your way. My only complaint would be the lack of focus of his x-ray tech, who lost track of which mouth x-rays he completed and which were yet to be done.
