I was scheduled to have 1 tooth removed. Once I got there and talked to the Dr, we decided it would be better to have 2 pulled. Dr. spent time explaining everything to me, and he listened to and answered my concerns. Overall the visit was longer then expected, but that was due to unforseen circumstances. the Dr was very reassuring/comforting. I will definitely go to him again for any and all future dental needs.

Dr. Farid A. Zurmati grew up in the Northern Virginia area. He has been practicing dentistry for approximately fifteen years. He considers himself to be on high moral grounds, and conducts himself with the highest of professional and ethical standards. He practices dentistry with a passion for perfection and standard of care.
Dr. Zurmati's ultimate goal is the satisfaction of his patients in order to build a longlasting and great relationship with them. Dr. Zurmati has been an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and has been engaged in numerous Dental Seminar courses in order to enhance his clinical and professional skills. He is very close to getting a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentisty in the very near future. His commitment to excellence and constant vigilance in the industry is a testament to his abilities and clinical skills.
Every year, he has taken Continuing Dental Education courses, far in excess of what is required by the Virginia Board of Dentisty. Dr. Zurmati is opening his state of the art dental practice in the Fairfax Station location in July 7, 2014.

He was very frazzled throughout the appointment. It was clear he was juggling too many patients on his own. It was very uncomfortable.

I had a cavity filled. It was a normal procedure and the dentist and his staff explained the procedure and were able to answer my questions. After the operation, I did think the pain lasted longer than my previous cavity fillings at other dentists. I just wasn't used to the longer tooth pain time. The pain subsided after a day. The operation went well.

Dr. Zurmati and his staff were very friendly and informative in welcoming me and walking me through the dental x-rays. His equipment looked up-to-date. His computers looked like they were ran Windows 7, which is current at the date of my appointment. The offices were clean. He was knowledgeable of his profession because he was able to determine something about me even though I forgot to put that information in my forms. The wait time was small because there were other customers, but he did recognize me during my wait which I appreciated. Cleaning and check-up went well with my teeth whiter. I appreciated the sunglasses during the operation. The only thing that I wish I knew was to bring in copies of my ZocDoc forms signed so that I don't have to fill in forms again, but that was my fault in not realizing that I need signed forms for a dentist appointment.
