Dr. Farzad is great and really knows how to talk with you in a friendly and professional way. He was knowledgeable and definitely open to questions. However, I honestly wasn't satisfied with the wait time and how the procedures followed.
I waited about an hour in the waiting room even though I had an appointment already scheduled. X-rays are done within sight of the waiting room, so if positioned correctly, you can see as someone is getting their teeth scanned along with their pictures on the computer screen. When I was getting my x-rays, the nurse operating the machine was very forceful in how she used the tool you bite down on to get your teeth in position. I get that it is usually uncomfortable, but there were two occasions where I gagged by how deep and sudden the nurse forced the tool in. After a few pictures there was a moment when the computer had to restart halfway through to run an update. During that time, the nurse left the tool I bit down on (honestly not sure what it's called) hanging idly by the machine until the computer restarted about 5 mins later. She then used that same one, cold spit still on the latex, to continue the x-rays.
I had to correct a nurse after she mistook me for another client as she approached me to start the teeth cleaning. The cleaning itself felt messy -- quite a bit of water hit my face during the procedure and some of it trailed down the side of my cheek. When all was said and done, there was nowhere to rinse after she and the doctor had left. I had to ask one of the other nurses for a cup and for her to point me to the restroom to rinse everything out -- the station I was in did not have a sink.
In the end, it took about 2 hours to walk out for something that I felt could have been finished much quicker. I have no complaints about the doctor , but I really wasn't satisfied with the staff and how everything else was carried out.
